    Im using this with Sony A6500, mainly for bird photography and some sun and moon pix . Focus is fast. Good balance even with small camera. I’ll explore coordinating its ahake reduction with the in-camera aystem

    This is a great lens. It’s very sharp to almost full zoom and lightweight considering how far out it reaches. The brightness is pretty standard for an entry level zoom. The only thing that’s not is the price. Compared to comparable zooms from Nikon and Canon this is quite a bit more expensive. I guess that’s the price you pay.

    Just wow a bit pricey but my gosh is this this awesome on my sony a6100. Not for close shots or very far shots but when u do get in the right spot is amazing.

    RAZOR SHARP lens at 350mm. Focus does wobble a little bit on my 6600, which was a shocker. And, this lens is pretty heavy. I wish it cost $800, not $1100 for this aperature, so if this lens were a fixed F4 it would be basically flawless. Sobthat could be better. Overall, it is razor sharp and has good OSS.

    I bought this for my Sony α6400. I have been able to capture crisp, beautiful photos with a nice reach. So far I have no complaints!

    I’m very much an amateur; I don’t think I can really utilize a quarter of the capabilities of the Sony a6400 camera I purchased from Best Buy. But this lens, with it’s Optical Steady Shot, is rather incredible. When shooting handheld at maximum zoom you can’t see any shake. And you end up with beautiful pictures that with the 26 megapixels in the camera you can crop them and zoom in even more.
    If money were no object I’d give it five stars but obviously that’s not the case. And remember, this is a fairly big and heavy lens for an amateur to handle on the little Sony camera bodies. You might want to try it out a bit before springing for this lens. But for me, I like to get in tight and zoom in so I’ll put up with that.

    This is a great lens to pair with my a6500. Shooting these are a joy and it’s very fast as well. Very good reach and easy to use. Great balance between reach and portability. I am able to fit this in my Peak Design 6L Everyday sling bag + another lens.

    First off, delivery was very prompt. This is the 1st ‘G’ lens i’ve used and the results were stunning. I recently purchased a 5 yr old a6000 that was still brand-new from a relative that really needed an all-in-one point-n-shoot. The 2 ‘kit’ lenses were good but this 70-350mm ‘G’ lens is a huge step up in image quality. Like the camera, this lens is in keeping with the smaller mirrorless camera theme. Birding with this new lens is very rewarding and fun.

    Ive always been a big fan of sony and their products. This was a great lense and worked very well for our Alaskan cruise. I got some very nice whale and eagle pictures. I waited for this to go down on price so got it for $900

    Very impressed with the quality of the pictures I can get from this lens, especially compared to the 18-130m lens that came with my camera. Look forward to seeing how well this captures sporting events this fall. I was a little worried it may be too heavy with my camera, Sony A6600, but it is fine, big yes but not too heavy.

    This is without a doubt the best telephoto lens for Sony APS-C! This lens turned my A6100 into a mini telescope with the crazy zoom range! Absolute must have for a Sony A6X00 series camera and I cannot wait to use it on my A6700 when it comes in!

    This Sony G 70-350 has now replaced the kit lens (55-210) originally bought with my a6000. The photos are sharp – center and edges – and absolutely gorgeous. Manual is particularly useful for moon shots. OSS, all the features for an advanced and amateur photogs. Worth every nickel, plus a nice Best Buy membership discount!

    Lol ving using this lens. Super sharp at lunch ngwr focal lengths. Way better than my Tamron 18-300 at the far end. Also lighter thany 150-500. Hreat for a walkabout or hiking lens when you want to capture wildlife without having an achievement mg shoulder afterwards. I highly recommend getting this one for any of Sony’s APS-C bodies if you want reach without a very heavy lens. It is really great on the a6700.

    Awesome quality as in all Sony products. This is good if you want to use for far away shots, didn’t have a need for it for the pictures I usually take so it was returned for refund, but quality was great!
