    I love these speakers it was perfect sound and bass it sounds like I’m really at the club great product and for the price to 2 for 250 can’t beat it at all and it was really easy to install and what’s really good it doesn’t take up a lot of space

    Zero complaints. These Sonys sound great paired wirh my Pioneer VSX-935. Good highs and mids. Bass is fine but I have a 12” hard hitting sub so doesnt matter. Clean overall design. Easy to unpack. Good banana plug connectors. Wish the grills were magnetic.

    These are excellent speakers with all around great sound with the combination of the setup (2 speakers and a tweeter in each one) and for a great price! I’ve had older models of these speakers, which are only a tiny bit wider and taller for many years, and it was time for some new ones.. I purchased 3 pairs ! I have one set (with bookshelf) speakers setup in our master bedroom; 1 set in my office, and another set in the living room (all with Sony receivers and Sony TV) Sony has always been the best products and all I’ve ever purchased all my life; I would never switch to a different brand. (I had my older 7.2 receiver for over 12 years and it finally quit, but well worth it after all that time!) Highly recommend! Sony is the best quality for the best price and stands behind thier products!

    I bought two of these bad boys and had a great couple months with them, then my baby started crawling and these things became a hazard. They’ve sat in the basement for about six months. They long to be used one day again. I check in on them from time to time. They’re doing okay. Thanks for asking. If you’re still reading…yes, buy them.

    AWESOME, console has 4spkrs each side also. Complete package, all Sony. Console built 7/61, sony core 5″ tower spkrs sound just as good. My compliments to Best Buy and Sony. Giddy as a kid at Xmas

    Functional, attractive, and an excellent balance of treble and bass – these speakers are not as expensive as similarly situated Klipsch or other higher-end brands but are every bit as good. Clear, crips, and the sound does not get hard to listen to even at higher volumes with clarity even when soft.

    We bought these to replace a Sonos system we had in our great room and and we’re all the better for it. These two towers replaced our four Sonos speakers and we have more, full sound that reverberates around the space for true immersion with whatever you’re listening to.

    I have a high-end Klipsch system I use for our home theater, but these two speakers alone are an impressive set and come highly recommended from an old quasi-audiophile.

    Great balance of bass to treble. Fills the entire room with sound. Can be used as starter for surround sound if I choose to go that way in the future. I am able to hear things that were not at all audible with old speakers. Bit pricey but well worth it.

    These are very small “Tower” speakers. I am one of those who believes tower speakers are best for front side channels in a home theater and for music. These are very small for a “Tower” speaker. Very Small… The fact they are so so “Short” defeats the purpose of a tower. Towers should produce decent bass and mids with good highs. This is ported to the front so you could shove them against a wall to get some bass I guess. (Oddly enough the Bookshelf versions of these speakers sound much better and you can move them in and adjust them better). The low price speaker market has gotten very small. These being $300 for the pair just skims the “Low Price” barrier in my opinion. They have a very flat sound. The mid range is thin, not there. The bass is off balance, anemic. In the end these speakers “shout” at you once you get them up to a level that you hear the bass. As far as hearing separation of any kind in your music you won’t. it’s a mud puddle . MAYBE if you invest in a proper sub and home theater receiver that can take all the bass and boom and just have these for mids and highs it could work. But for this price is that worth it? The Sony Core Bookshelf speakers are 1/2 price and sound much better with a sub and you will come out to around the same price you would paid for just these “Tower” speakers that are unbalanced and thin.

    I really debated on these Sony floor standing speakers among a few other brands. I am very pleased that I chose these. I am only using for music (CD’s and albums) with a 2-channel Sony receiver also purchased from BB at the same time. I was going to eventually add a sub,, but these have plenty of bass for my liking. They look great and do not take up much space. Would highly recommend.
