    I just purchased a used Sony A7R iv. It was missing a charger. The store where I purchased it from gave me a poor quality charger to go along with the camera. I have used this charger before and I knew only it was then one to get.

    Works great for the times when you need to charge your batteries on the go. Works exactly as needed. Five stars not given because I feel this could’ve been cheaper. Decent quality, ease of use: incredibly easy, value – just not quite worth asking price

    The new Sony mirrorless camera do not ship with an adapter. So if you own a Sony mirrorless camera I highly recommend owning this charging adapter. I frankly don’t feel comfortable charging my battery through my mirrorless camera and I would highly recommend you spend the extra bucks to safeguard your investment.

    So if you are not sure this is how you want to spend your money but want to protect your investor this piece of hardware is a no brainer.

    Best part about this adapter is after the battery is done charging it shuts off!

    The charger works just as intended, but is outrageously expensive, value-wise. As a wedding videographer that typically uses 3 cameras throughout the wedding day, i easily go through 6-10 batteries in an event, and have to have backups just to be safe. Sony has forced everyone to move to OEM batteries, which is fine, except the charger is $100 for a single battery charger. So i have to spend $1000 to be able to charge all 10 batteries overnight in a situation where i have back-to-back events. Sony NEEDS to offer a a reliable, professional alternative option for charging large quantities of batteries at once.

    This would be a great battery charger, IF I could use a USB cord to connect it to power. The fact that it needs its own plug is a pain. That said, it charges batteries quickly 🙂

    Pricey charger that used to come with the purchase of any good digital camera. The battery charger works as it’s supposed to and seems of good quality. Sony has found a way to squeeze more profit by selling it separately and for about double the price it should be retailing at. However, I needed the item and paid the 100 clams for it.

    The one charger to rule them all! This is by far far the most reliable charger for the NP-FZ 100 Sony lithium-ion batteries. My suggestion is having a couple of these to charge multiple batteries at a time. Its charges the batteries the quickest no matter what the other “fast charger” gimmick products say. Reliable and safe Sony product.

    Best purchase ever. Charges quickly. I use the Sony FX30 for wedding films so quick battery charge is a must for me. Original Sony NP-FZ100 battery goes from 10% to 100% in under 2 hours. 10/10

    Does exactly what it’s designed to do. I needed an extra battery and charger for my Sony a7 III. This works fine and is light in my camera bag. Gets the job done.

    Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Battery took almost 5 hours to charge in camera vs 2 hours with the charger attached to a wall outlet. Highly recommend. Although sony should have included it in the box.

    I usually plug my camera in to charge through USB C. But sometimes its slow or ill need to chatge a second battery while working. 100% worth buying for convenience.

    It’s a little bulky for me but overall it’s a good charger. I like the ones that you can just plug into them now and slide the battery in without the cable wire
