    Absolutely love this lens. I am not a professional, just wanted something to take decent photos of the family & random activities.

    We use this on a Sony A6400, if you have a cropped sensor camera 10/10 recommend this lens to get a similar feel of a 50mm on a full frame.

    The 1.8 FE makes this lens worth it to get those smooth blurry backgrounds.

    So I have the Sony 50mm F 1.8 (It’s an Okay Lens, Not Great) I have the Sony 85mm F 1.8 (Its really good and I mean GOOD) I recently purchased the Sony 35mm F 1.8 Wide Angle And Holy crap I use it 99.9 percent of the time. Go on and buy the lens and I promise you wont regret it. Now I’m trying to buy the Sony Zeiss 16-35mm I should be able to buy it in about 3-4 months and I can not wait 🙂 But In The Mean Time I Will Enjoy This 35mm Lens ..

    If I just had one prime I’d use this lens. Very cinematic and auto focus is more reliable than even the g master at half the cost.

    Super sharp and compact. A great every day and travel lens. Paired with a full-frame Sony camera it’s excellent at both photos and video. Focus is fast and consistent. Highly recommended.

    I got booked for my first wedding shoot and rented this lens at last minute. This lens is worth every penny, I am now about to go through and buy this lens. I’ve shot with other 35mm lens that are higher end compared to this lens, and this lens surpasses most of them as far as quality and sharpness. I also love that this lens is small in size compared to other 35mm lens.

    This lens has been everything i hoped it would be. Classic 35mm angle, razor sharp and that 1.8 is gorgeous. Has already made me some money. The lens hood feels a little flimsy in the way it locks in place but it does it job. Lens feels quality as well. Im so happy with the results for less than 1/2 the price of the G Master

    So far in my limited use of this lens it seems to focus very fast and has great sharpness and details. I have recently switched over to Sony mirrorless after many years of Nikon, so we’ll see how this plays out in time.

    I really like the lens because it forces the photographer to get up and close with the subject and take better pictures. It did take some adjusting, but I’m glad I went with this one over the stock lens for my Alpha 7iii.

    This lens didn’t leave my camera for a LONG time. I should say 35mm is my favorite i could never get i to loving 50 like you are “supposed to” so i got this as my first nice lens. Worth every penny.
    This thing is fast and tack sharp. I have a zeiss 2.8 which j love to death because of the size but when I really need top quality this is my go to!
