We’ve had aweosme connection within our 5000 square foot home and no interuptions in sound with this addition to our system
ccull –
We have a large home and were having connectivity issues further from the router. Purchasing this fixed all my connection issues and the system works perfectly.
Wows –
Works well with the different Sonia speakers. Nice

I needed this thing to make my Sonos speakers find the same signal in my house. If you don’t have a good way to get a network cable from your router to one of your Sonos devices (if you have multiple in your room), run the network cable into this guy instead and it’ll make everything work together well. It’s pricey but it helped me out of a bind for sure.

with the speakers in the house it gave us a extra boost that help out with our problem

Sonos Boost has made my Sonos equipment even stronger. The sound is magnificent.

I picked up a Sonos boost when I was having trouble pairing my older Play:1 speakers as surrounds with my new Arc soundbar after several months without trouble before they dropped. The Boost was quick and easy to set up, and promises a dedicated wireless channel for all your Sonos gear.
As for my main reason for buying this, the Boost didn’t fix the surrounds pairing issue, but a recent Sonos S2 iOS app update and accompanying speaker hardware update did fix it. So this was ultimately an unnecessary purchase for me as my connectivity to Sonos speakers has always been good with my main wireless router. Ah well, I’ll keep the Boost and hopefully this means more reliable connectivity and better performance over the long run!

Sonos – Boost works like a charm!…just as advertised.

We have had Sonos products for years, but it has certainly been improved since our meeting with Garlen of the Total Tech Geek Squad. His recommendation of adding the Sonos Boost Wireless Speaker Transmitter has really improved our music enjoyment.

Installed it directly into the Ethernet port on the router, soon after problems started. Our wifi was dropping connections to equipment left and right. After disconnecting it the problems stopped. Nobody warned us that some type of interference might result. I’d give it one star but I’ll add another since we couldn’t conclusively test whether or not this was the culprit but it sure seemed that way. There was also no noticeable improvement on the performance of my Sonos speaker connection.
I foolishly threw out the box so now we are stuck with this thing and out $100. Pass on this.

Fixed all of our connectivity issues with our Sonos system. No longer having trouble finding our speakers on our wifi.
Shanman371 –
does the job. Sonos speakers can get disconnected with too many speakers or bad wifi. This will fix that issue.
Greg –
This made a big difference in the stability of my Sonos wifi system. Several speakers used to cut in and out. It did not resolve a new problem with the Sub dropping out of the system amd unpairing to the Pbar unfortunately. I suspect that Sonos messed something up with a software update.

Great sound!
easy to hide—
Get the protection plan—It saves money!!!
It is inexpensive

This fixed our issue. Sonos found a way to make sure they connect easily
Mozzmode –
Does it help I honestly don’t know just seemed to make sense to add with all the Sonos products we have and it was on sale

Love this, perfect for our Sonos family! Sleak, beautiful and so functional.

Works great once you figure out how to set it up. I have it feeding a Sonos One and a stereo pair of Sonos Play 1 speakers. My WIFI kept dropping out but now this has solved that problem. However the instruction pamphlet that was in the box is essentially useless. I had to Google to find out how to set it up.

I bought these because my home is large and I had some connectivity issues even though I have an excellent mesh wifi router. Other reviews indicated that adding the transmitter helped. For me, it made no difference. No better, and no worse. So maybe a waste of money?
GregM –
Does everything it’s suppose to. Puts the system into the Sonosnet which is less likely to get interference from other Wi-Fi devices.

Sonos Boost Wireless Transmitter will not be installed until 7/13/22

Did not work for me. The sonos App works just fine for synching ur devices

Helps keep my netgear orbi more organized. After reading the reviews I got it and it was super easy to set up.

We have an older house with some WiFi challenges, and this solved a few repeated connection issues. A little overpriced for what it is, but easy to set-up and use. It does what it says it does.
AudioVideoInstaller –
This thing made a more solid sonos system out of the 7 speakers I installed in a restaurant. There were issues with them losing the wifi connection and the music got choppy.
After hardwiring this to the router music played steady.
sonos –
It works as old one did, we did not need a replacement sustem.
Delvarius –
I have a Sonos speaker system, and I started to notices little minor delays in the sound quality. I found out that my network was being exausted from too much traffic on the network. I bought the Booster and no more problems.
Bulldog04 –
Easy installment and use. When paired with speakers, delivers great sound to where you want it

This item really helped tie in my 6 Sonos speakers

Nice signal strength, works excellent, good option

To start, I have a system with 8 Sonos products scattered across a 700sq/ft apartment, with a lot of network interference from neighboring units and another building of apartments a stone throw away from my windows. I had been having connectivity issues recently (especially with my Sonos home theater setup), and the Boost immediately solved all of my issues. After attempting to reboot/reset and reconnect my system endlessly, I ordered the Boost. Wow! Such a BREEZE with the Boost! I should have purchased one a long time ago.. Strongly recommend for anybody living in an apartment with hundreds of units and find themselves having connectivity issues

Good for Sonos products to have its own network…..
EdgarR –
Works very good the best product ever, keep my speakers working perfect
yousszey0 –
Made my problem with connection so much easier should of gotten this a long time ago
EasilyPersuaded –
My Sonos setup wouldnt connect to my mesh network. So, after doing some light reading, the solution was presented to me as buying the Boost to setup a SonosNet. After plugging in the Boost to my main mesh node the system has no issues connecting to the Wi-Fi. Its very frustrating that Sonos has issues connecting to a mesh network in the first place and that it caused to me to spend $100 extra dollars on the Boost, but at least it does what was advertised.
NeverQuitSteve –
I like them so much I use them all over my house, with and without amps and stand alone
ShawnH –
Had a real hard time connecting my speakers before I purchased this. Since then 100 percent no issues. If you’re going to drop the money on the speakers, this is definitely worth the purchase. Hassle free setup and no drops.
Jram2 –
Easy to setup. Sonos speakers would not stay connected using the wifi. Once I added the boost to to the office, all of the speakers connected and stay connected.
Smarthouselover –
Bought this unit to help boost my connection and prevent drop-offs. It’s doing the job. Simple to setup and connect.
Pjjr –
Very easy to set up. I have 21 Sonos speakers and amps and it seems to be helping on Wi-Fi drop outs with music
JamesP –
Was having issues with my Sonos devices dropping out. This Sonos Boost eliminated that problem
GeneH –
Great for creating the sub and Sonos ones speakers there own WiFi network to connect to.

Fantastic ! Fantastic ! Fantastic ! Fantastic !
Saturnjunkey –
Absolutely happy with, was having spotty drops every once in a while, and system is seamless now!
PeterL –
Some companies seem to earn and maintain their Top Quality reputation with relative impunitu
BillyT –
Helped with the sonos disconnecting. It allows the sonos devices to use their own network instead of occupying the WiFi bandwidth.
MarkR –
Improved performance of Sonos system but about the same as connecting a speaker directly to the router
JoseR –
it just works, good hardware to have if you have multiple Sonos spikers…
GaryK –
Sonos is great when it works. This device has not appreciably improved and connectivity issues.
