Added a second Sonance to my Denon AV system to replace a lower powered sub that was not capable of keeping up with the other subs, a 1000w sub on 1 and the first Sonance on sub-2. My bass is now very well defined and very low frequencies are present that were becoming muddy from lack of power from the one I replaced.

REMEMBER, WHERE YOU PLACE YOUR SUB WOOFER WILL DICTATE 75-80% of performance. For me, From wall behind couch to wall where subwoofer is in front is about 15 feet, not exactly open floor plan but not enclosed either. Sounds good. Bass is deep. Like, way better than sound bar deep. I’m impressed. Price to performance value is great. If I could, I’d get another. Luckily it sounds fascinating right in front of listening area. See picture.

Extremely poor sub bass, poor mid bass – and if you turn volume up it’ll produce decent bass, but also very thunky sounding. Honestly sounds like a $100 sub at best.

This small sub replaced my years old Polk in cabinet woofer. This smaller sized woofer exeeds the bass performance of my polk by a lot. Especially on movies. Perfect size and quality for my small (500 sq ft) home theater set up.

I got an open box and at first i thought it was blown but after some tweeks and playing around it really is powerful…. Does sounds like it bottoms out at certain levels but for the $240 price tag i paid it booms pretty well… deff would not pay full price for this… but if you ketch it on sale give it a try

This is a great sounding subwoofer, the bass is extremely rich. I got it in sale for 400$ and took a chance on it and I’m glad I did. I couldn’t find a review anywhere on this particular one, I have it hooked up to a Onkyo AV receiver with LFE on paired with some Polk towers and double bass on which makes it sound like a much bigger sub. I was worried that it was too small for the room but this little thing fills the room just fine.

AWESOME! ONE WORD IS ALL YOU NEED TO DESCRIBE IT. REPLACED MY YAMAHA 100W SUB WITH THIS 275W SUBWOOFER AND OH WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I’M NOT FAMILIAR WITH SONANCE AND I TOOK A CHANCE. BOY AM I GLAD I DID. PHASE/CROSSOVER AND VOLUME CONTROLS TO SET TO YOUR PREFERNCE. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

I picked up this subwoofer after having used a few different Definitive Technology subs. I was happy with them but wanted to give Sonance a shot since I have the Sonance in-wall speakers. I am seriously impressed. The sound that comes out of this sub especially for the price (299.99 on sale) just can’t be beat. Highly recommend.

I purchased this on the recommendation of a Best Buy consultant but when Best Buy installers came to install it, it would not work wireless with my system. Constant static in all 6 of my speakers.

The small design and footprint is a win. It packs a decent amount of power and sounds good (but not excellent). If you are looking for a space saver this is an option. If you want big pucnhy sound that doesn’t bottom out and performs at all frequencies opt for a 12 inch woofer.

I’m really enjoying this little subwoofer. Don’t be fooled by it’s compact size. It packs plenty of power. I had a bigger one before vibrated and caused a lot of external noise, but not the Sonance. It’s solid and tight, no unwanted noise or vibrating other objects in the room, just nice tight, adjustable base. You’ll love it.

Love it. Front pushing so better impact. Deep and heavy. I had compared it with the similarly priced Martin Logan Subwoofer in the Magnolia section. This is far superior…I have it set up with B&W speakers and am really happy. My understanding is that Sonance was primarily focused on commercial systems but is now entering residential space too.

Works as advertised. Had a little issue with it working at first. Had to recalibrate my receiver and then worked great. No issues and great for the price, especially when on sale. Better RMS than most

Love the quality fo build and sound. Only issue was auto sensing trigger from PC would not trigger. Worked fine with AVR but with our gaming PC it just would not trigger wake up from source.
