Awesome product for your backyard oasis. The sound quality is amazing, big sound packed in a small body. I purchased the 6.1 and used 14-4 wire, not a single problem with quality of sound and performance. My yard is 50×125 and the 6.1 is just the right amount for backyard parties.

This is a great system for your outdoor area, I did installation myself and if you have some common knowledge it is very simple. Sound is great and with the sonos ecosystem along my other outdoor speakers the sound can very very clean and immersive and if you wanna blast and have your neighbors call the cops this will also do the job.

Picked this up on sale and am very glad that I did. I got this to replace some cheap low voltage Bluetooth speakers that I had tied into our landscape lighting power. The speaker enclosures seem very sturdy and well made. This package includes the Sonos amp and the whole system sounds incredible poolside. I installed these in a line running parallel to our back view fence and pointed towards the pool. You will need to provide your own speaker cable. I got 12 gauge 4 conductor as my cable run is a little on the longer side. The sound is incredible and the Sonos features are great. I integrated it with Alexa so I can control the setup using one of my Alexa enabled devices. I highly recommend this system and have a family member that will be getting one after hearing my setup.

Although i was initially lukewarm on the sound i appreciate the focused sound platform now. But once the system was broken in (not something i was sure outdoor speakers would need) this sound can crank as i can hear it over one hundred feet away in the front of our house. For reference, our system is in our back yard against the house to maximize the bass response been in place for one summer season, we’ll see how it holds up year after year.
Sound is clear enough for entertaining outdoors as sometimes i use the system for sound for tv. Make sure you plan your layout very well if you want decent sound separation.

Amazing sound system, worth every penny when purchased at the sale price. Sonos Amp by itself is 700. I opted to install the system on my own using direct bury 14AWG 4 cable speaker wire. Was my first outdoor speaker install so I took my time and followed the directions closely. A good circular wire stripping tool is a must! Laid out the speaker cable in advance, took my time stripping the wire and making the connections but everything worked on the first attempt! Sound is all encompassing and sub sounds great even though it is not powered independently. Wife thinks that it is a little overkill, to which I asked her is there such a thing?? Would highly recommend this subsystem, and if you are the slightest bit handy then just go ahead and install it yourself.

I have purchased this system for my outdoor pool and backyard. The system is PERFECT! It was so easy to have the system installed and using the system with Spotify, Sonos, or Apple Music, etc…works perfectly!

This is great for it’s price. But Garden series is better. Sonos amp has slightly muted treble/clarity than Sonance Amps. For a small patio, this is excellent system, for larger area, I’d recommend Sonance garden series. I have both, so I can compare. Garden series has tighter and stronger bass and satellites have better clarity, Mag6.1 is in the middle ground, not too much bass and the best clarity.

Do not buy this. I paid for the system and to have it installed almost &2k, 18 months later all the connections are corroded away and the wires are gone at the connections. Called geek squad and was told there is only a 30 day warranty on installation and if I wanted to have someone come look at it I had to pay the installation fee again. System itself is good. But don’t have geek squad install it.

I got this on sale as I’ve always been wanting one but couldn’t justify the 2500 price tag. It was very straightforward in installation, and syncing it up was also easy maybe due to having already other Sonos products in my household. The sound is awesome in the backyard, once the weather gets warmer I’m sure we are going to be the hit of the family and everyone is going to want to come over for barbecues.

To be fair, I haven’t heard the leakers after installation. I bought these off a recommendation from the Best Buy install team in store. the installation team failed to be responsive and help install them after purchase. Box still in the garage waiting for the install team to make contact back with me.
