    The silver zinc coated screw provided was too long for my
    Window sill, so I used a smaller one and worked perfectly . Holds my 12,000 btu AC just fine . It even includes a lever.

    Installed bracket in about 30 minutes all you need is a drill and a screwdriver and 2 nut wrenches or to pliers the large bracket is holding my GE 12,000 btu air conditioner just fine.

    This bracket is of good quality, we were not able to use it because it didn’t fit our small custom window. Nonetheless the quality is good. We returned this it for a full refund. We appreciate best buys rerun policy thanks

    The setup is difficult, screws are poor quality and stripped easily. The back part that rests on outside wall is weak and isn’t very adjustable. Not easy to use and poor quality.

    Picked up the only bracket available at the big name hardware store and it was useless! Checked here and found exactly what I was looking for that the other guys didn’t. Got home and installed it within a few min and had my AC up and running in no time!

    Raises AC a bit so it leaves gaps. Rubber part also felt like it would slip with the texture on the outside of window. Kinda of scary when using a $600 AC unit on it. With a few little adjustments, it’s holding up so far!

    The co-op requires installing this bracket. Easy to install and solid quality; however, I decided to go for the longer one to fully cover the depth of my A/C. This is on the short side but would still have worked and supported by 60-lb. unit but I felt more comfortable using a longer bracket so I ordered the the longer version.
    Returning this at my neighborhood store was quite easy.

    NEED OUTSIDE WINDOW SILL. Best buy does not sell support brackets for windows that do not have an outer sill. They should. Have had quite a time finding one that supports a Frigidaire unit with no outer sill. If your outer window sill is flush with your home, you will need to look elsewhere.

    Don’t install without it. This little thing gives me a lot of peace of mind. The build is the highest quality and strength. Even has a built in level to be certain it is installed well. I’m very happy and wouldn’t ever do without one.

    Does what they need to do. They come out the window rather big. So dont be shy, use these badboys for a big a.c like 14,000 btu lol

    Good solid product, the installation wasn’t too bad although I wish the instructions were more thorough. My install SEEMED fine, the support bracket was installed at the proper angle, but once I put in my A/C unit, a support foot on the A/C unit itself actually propped up the A/C unit to an angle so that the precipitation backflowed into the A/C unit and into the apartment. Not fun.
