Love these buds! The fit is great and the performance is even better. Whether I’m in the office, on the road, or just trying to get active after work, the ANC blocks out the surrounding noise and helps me focus on the call, podcast or new song im obsessing over. They connect so easily out of the box and they even have Tile built-in so you can find them if you happen to misplace them. In a matter of minutes, these became my go to headphones.

Originally purchased based on the positive reviews. The first pair I bought- the left earbud only worked and no power to the right earbud. I returned that set and exchanged for a new set but not before spending a few hours on the Skullcandy help site and other sites trying to find a way to fix the issue.
With the new set, for the first few days both the right and left earbuds worked. An issue I noticed was that when I went from listening to music or watching a video where the sound was clear and then answering a phone call, the sound then went almost robotic when switching to the phone. Same from going to a phone call and then opening up a music app.
After about a week, the right earbud stopped working again. Will be returning to the store and avoiding Skullcandy from here on out.
After searching reviews outside of the BestBut site, looks like this is a known issue for Skullcandy.

These aren’t bad headphones, they aren’t that user friendly, directions are vague, I bought them to use at work with a Motorola radio, connection issues and they don’t sit in ears too well, they are definitely not Apple AirPods. Unfortunately, AirPods won’t connect with Motorola radios at all. This was the next best thing. Sound is decent enough and they do the minimum of what I need them to do. Connection to iPhone is easy and they sound alright. Often times they don’t sync to each other properly and you get sound with one or the other. They are good enough.

Not a fan. Sound quality was average, at best. Touch controls are not intuitive. I typically only use the right ear bud 80% of the time. But, the left ear bud died. Despite very rare usage.

These earbuds are great while they last. I have had two pair and both started having issues around the time the warranty period ends. Luckily the first ones failed just ahead of the warranty expiration. Not as lucky with the replacements.

Everything else is very poor. Frequent breaks/jitter in audio, drops in quality Frequently. I’ve had 2 pairs, both had the same issues, both broke after 3 months.
~$130 for a product that breaks after 3 months isn’t worth it.
I expected higher quality from Skullcandy.
The company gracefully sent a second pair, then issued a $130 rebate.
had to pay for shipping to claim warranty, so I ended up paying ~$170 in total for a faulty product.
I was glad to get rid of it by the end.
Be very wary.

Feel very cheap and don’t fit ears well. They aren’t durable at all to dropped case once and stopped charging one of my earbuds. Replaced them with warranty and it happened again. The sound quality and things like that are great though.

I have been using Skullcandy products since 2008, and this has been the worst purchase I have made. This review is about a year after purchase.
Design:
– I dislike the touch controls. I much prefer a tactile button, because if you lean on your hand or arm, it will pause, play, and disconnect your earbuds.
– You have to use the rubber piece that sticks up in order to get the earbuds in and out of the case. You can remove them if you don’t like how they feel in your ear, but good luck wrestling them out of the charging case.
– Noise cancelling only works with both earbuds in. Some folks want noise cancelling to experience some serenity – I personally use ANC so that I can listen to a podcast without having to turn the volume up too loudly over the environment.
– They flash brightly for about 2 minutes after you connect them. Annoying if you’re trying to listen to something before bed.
Execution:
– The earbuds are prone to “seizing”. . . You have to tap them a little bit occasionally. The speaker driver gets stuck and no audio will come out until you “unseize” it. They are clean and have never gotten wet. I actually barely use them
– Battery life has not held up at all. Especially ever since I decided to try it on a wireless charging pad.
– The earbuds will randomly disconnect entirely, leaving whatever podcast I was listening to blaring for the office to hear. (Most apps auto-pause on a disconnect, but why are we disconnecting??)
– Experienced several instances of just plain static.
I do not recommend buying these. I’ve had a pair of Skullcandy Sesh Evo for a few years now, and they are absolute workhorses. Nothing ever goes wrong with them. There’s no ANC, but they’re a FAR better value. Skip these, grab Skullcandy Sesh Evo.

How do I start . What is ANC not noise cancelling,used these at the gym and still could hear the piped in music from the gym. Left earbud would sporadically go to straight static. The topper was when both earbuds played with a 2 – 3 second delay between each earbud putting the song out of sync

Not a bad product, I remember back in the day skull candy headsets would be cheap and break easily but now some of them are actually good quality such as these. Not a bad set of wireless headsets if you’re not looking for studio headsets which are very expensive for no reason.
