    I’m writing this because previous reviews give this product a bad rap. This radio does exactly what it is designed to do, stream SiriusXM radio via WiFi. You need a subscription for it to work.

    One thing, after logging into your WiFi it will go through a firmware update. Once finished, it rebooted the radio but did not attach to my WiFi. I needed to unplug and re-plug in the radio (hard reboot) and everything worked fine.

    Nice radio, but only works for the Sirius Extra channels. If you want to listen to the flagship channels like Sixties on 6, 70’s on 7, etc. you are out of luck. All of these channels only play for approximately 5-10 seconds, then disconnect and try to reconnect for anther 30 seconds, the the process constantly repeats itself rendering these channels unlistenable. I worked with Sirius technical support, they are aware of the problem and said it would be fixed with a firmware update. This was several weeks ago, and nothing yet. Sadly there does not seem to be any home internet radios that will work properly since the 1st generation TT1 radio, which worked great for about 6 years before it stopped working. If you want to listen at home to the channels I listed above, avoid this radio.

    Excellent XMSirrus radio. You must have an account or it will not work. Speaker quality is very good. Follow directions for setup. A firmware update will occur before you can use it. You will have to connect to your wifi using your password and then enter your XMSirrus user name and password. After that setup your stations you like to listen to. We listen to ours every evening while sitting out on our deck.

    I originally purchased the TTR2 and love it, and I recently purchased this model for another part of the house and love it as well- To really benefit from the radio you need to be an All Access subscriber to access all the SiriusXM channels on this radio via WIFI connection, which includes the xtra channels, On Demand, and Pandora. The radio is easy to use, the remote has all the basic features on it- (You do need to use the front panel for the Pandora functionality- (Which is not a big deal), and also this model does have the capability of using a rechargeable battery (Available at Gracedigital.com for a option charge) to listen without the need for AC power.

    Had to get this since SiriusXM stopped support/streaming for the original TTR1. Overall, very pleased. Sound is decent, and has all the bells and whistles you can ask for. Recommend….

    I thought I would have the ability to listen to my local stations and have not been able to do so. I would have thought twice if I would have known sooner. I would not recommend it and would not have bought this it?

    Radio is great but my Xfinity service leaves a lot to be desired. Have to reset my modem at least weekly to use my radio.

    I absolutely love this! I was contemplating whether or not to replace my Bose system or buy a standalone system so I could listen to my Sirius subscription in the house. Systems that I saw a couple of years ago seemed too complicated. Then I took a look around again and found this one. Simple set up and your listening to whatever you fancy and has a nice rich sound and pairs nicely with your wireless speakers so you can listen in other rooms. Doesn’t take up too much space and great for the price.

    radio not worked from day one, I finally got a replacement and this one does not work either and from what I understand it was replaced with a refirbished one which does not seem fair. What do you think about this?

    Did not work. Spent hours over several days on-line with SiriusXm Listener Care and could not get it to work. Therefore, returned it to Best Buy.

    I needed a radio for the office and I wanted to have SiriusXM. This radio is exceptional. You not only get siriusXm regular channels but you get Xtra channels( about 100 more) and on demand shows and pause/rewards functionally.

    Totally awesome ! If you have WiFi this is the way to go, no need for antenna or separate sound system to be able to listen to SiriusXM . You can place it anywhere in your home that the WiFi will reach and plug it in and you can listen, even on your deck or porch. Great receiving SiriusXM Radio . Get It !!

    This radio was acquired to replace my Logitech internet radio that just stopped working. This is a very nice radio. I only wish that it had backlit keys like the Logitech.

    Works as advertised. Easy to set-up. Easier than using a browser to stream. One negative is that it is powered by AC only which limits portability.

    We previously has an alexa, sound system was incredible. We decided to switch away from that system and instead listen to our satellite service and boy are we happy with this system. We were very picky with our decision and after choosing the SiriusXM wi-fi Sound Station, we are blown away by how good the sound quality is compared to the Alexa (actually compared to a number of options). Thanks also to Best Buy for having it available (shipped to our home pain free 🙂

    This is the only option if you want a home/office/outdoor/portable self contained SXM radio with display that shows the station, artist, song, and album cover. Add a rechargeable battery (it’s wired for it and has a compartment built in) and you can carry to the patio or campground or beach. It is NOT satellite, it is WIFi so keep that in mind. The built in speaker is decent (it even has an equalizer) but connect it to a nice sound system via the RCA jacks and you’ve got a sweet sound system to for the perfect SXM experience.

    We could not get the SXM Sound Station to work, so we are going to return it SXM. SXM sent us another Sound Station to replace the one purchased at Best Buy. I hope this one will work.

    The radio has great sound. It was a bit difficult for a non technical person to hook up. But once we figured it out we love the radio.
