    This docking station works great. I have the star mate 8. The docking station is a very easy install depending on your vehicle. I was able to complete the install from start to finish in about 15-20 minutes. Hardest part is running the antenna wire. Once the wire is run it’s a piece of cake. You have a couple different mounting options from the ac vent to a sticky pad. It’s a great and easy way to be able to have 1 Sirius radio between multiple vehicles.

    I bought this for a cross-country trip in a rental car, just used my own SiriusXM radio and used this to install it in the rental car. I used it as a temporary install, w/ tape to hold antenna and wires in place, easily removed after. Very nice, kit included all cables + adapters for different radio models.

    It works fine with the new 360 radio, just that the mount doesn’t fit quite like to one that comes with the radio and neither adaptor works with the 360 either.

    I bought this so I could move my Sirius XM radio from one vehicle to another. The original dock I had purchased from Best Buy was defective and they replaced it with no hassle. Reason I am only giving 4 stars is the dock seems to be a bit flakey. Only time will tell how long it holds up. Installing this was very easy. It took me less than a half hour to install this in my truck.

    This is my second one for another vehicle. Since I can only be in one place at a time I don’t want to be paying for more than one subscription to Sirius. I have the docking receiver in my shop which allows me to listen while I’m working. I have it in my car and currently I have a trial subscription in my truck. When that runs out I’ll still be able to get Sirius with this setup. Transferring the receiver is no big deal.

    You get what you pay for. The kit was easy to install on an older model vehicle.

    Didn’t work right out of the box. Start up screen came on but that’s it. Could not turn off unit by the power button. Something very wrong with this item. First time I ever had anything wrong with a Sirius product.

    Does what is is intended to do. The Dash mount bracket is junk—doesn’t securely hold your radio. If you want it to stay in place and not swivel around, you will need to glue it or use something to keep it in place. Other than that, everything else does what it should

    The only thing my boyfriend did not like about this is that it didn’t come with a suction cup for the windshield. He is pleased with the item itself.

    I had planned a trip to Minnesota and knew that rental car companies now charge $5 a day to access SXM. Since I could not locate my power cord for my Onyx, I decided to buy this special package. I found the cord in my suitcase before the flight but decided to drive to the Best Buy in Roseville anyway as I had committed to buy the item. It does give you many more items you might need for the times you travel in a vehicle that does not have onboard SXM.
