    It is so convenience. My only issue with it is that if you have it on for too long it tends to overheat a little.

    Does not work. Would not work with the prepaid service card purchased at bestbuy, nor with additional service purchased on the simple mobile website. Absolute garbage, waste of time.

    This little gem is only on when you pay the bill. I don’t need it every month, I currently only vend festivals 4 or 5 times a year. Most of them are within 60 days of each other, so I only need to prepay for a couple of months and then I am good.

    Great for your kids going to school and not wanting to buy an expensive hotspot plan. Works and gets the job done on a budget they can control with cards to replenish.

    Device stopped working already, purchased 40 gb of data used 13 before device would no longer connect indicating that i was connected but no internet. Did a chat and the agents did nothing but suggest going to a store or schedule an in home appt. Bought the hotspot because I am away from home. I cannot easily access store and whatever protection i bought with or that is covered under the phone purchase doesn’t include remote support. A waste of my time money and energy

    We purchased this hotspot To run a security camera in a hotel room while we were on vacation with our dog. It did a great job.
    Initially we were not sure how much data we would need so we bought 40 gigs for $50. Unfortunately, we ended up losing about 75% of that data when the plan expired. Because it’s prepaid you lose what you don’t use other than that it’s a great little little hotspot.

    I’m in the country and was not able to get service. It did not work at all, just literally said “No Service”. My cell phone works so I had hopes this would as well. Wasted money.

    As a 4G/LTE cellular access point, it does the job. I find it odd that you can have either 2.4G or 5G but not both at the same time. The biggest annoyance is the limited choice of the data plans. I never tried pulling the SIM and putting something else in.

    Wasn’t hard to set up, but the battery only lasted for 5 hours, then wouldn’t recharge. Couldn’t get the Admin password changed.

    My device did not come with the correct SIM in it that it was activated for . Nothing could be resolved about over the phone with a rep because the SIM inserted was registered to someone else . On order to get it up and running is of have to go into the store .

    Unhappy with the company was unable to make the prepaid card work with the hotspot I had to exchange the device three times and it still wouldn’t take it and then they refunded my Hotspot but would not refund the prepaid card that I bought for the hotspot that they could not connect and simple mobile where is no help at all so I actually lost 50 bucks throughout this whole process and time invested was wasted

    This thing came in and saved me after losing internet access following a fire at my home with a landlord that wouldn’t hire an electrician. While it occasionally had its hangups with getting connected to internet, it was very consistent in speed and connection for the most part. Some times the speeds were very bad, sometimes it was hard to get devices connected to it. But the setup, data refills, and overall ease of use made this thing a lifesaver and even handled gaming online. $50 for 40GB sure does add up, though!

    The worst thing to happen since NetZero Went out of business. Thankfully I’ll be getting actual internet put in, in just a few weeks from now. Right when I turned it on and it said TracPhone I knew that this was going to be a nightmare. It will work for about two hours then it will decide that it wants to stop sending any kind of internet feed. No download no upload no connection to computers. I should mention most of it is just simple data entry nothing that takes up tons of data.

    If you can stay away from this dumb device! The best thing that could happen to this is for it to get blown up, or ran over, or catch fire, or stepped on, or whatever bad thing could happen it would be great.

    Would not connect laptop to internet. Do not buy!!
    I am a technology teacher, and I could not connect a laptop to the internet with this despite successfully connecting to the hot spot and having a working prepaid card with 50gb of available data on it

    Moved, and our new internet installation was delayed. I needed something I could use at home for all my basic work needs, and this works great. Works well for streaming, too. Simple device, easy setup, and does what it needs to do. It was a huge relief to have my own network I could work on securely at home. It’ll be nice to be able to take this traveling as well. Would recommend!
