Bought because my dyson was losing suction and needed replacing. The shark is lighter amd more manageable than my dyson and the animal hair attachment is great to vacuum furniture. I would recommend this vacuum to friends and family.

After not being able to vacuum the carpet after moving due to only having a hard-floor vacuum, I can safely say that the heavy-carpet/rug option works to digging into the carpet and pulling up dust and debris. It also works as a hard floor vacuum, effectively making my old vacuum useless.
Assembling the vacuum was easy with the quick start-up instructions and necessary to fully use the capability of the vacuum (as you’re probably unplugging everything to dusting out the ceiling).
Price range (at the time of purchase, it was $250) was a bit much considering that some competing brands for the same price range can be a wet/dry vac (this is only dry); but at the time of wanting an upgrade, it was a good purchase made.
Most replacement parts are available in the Shark website (filters, the decorative shield, the decorative logo, etc), but some third party parts are also available in the open market for a fraction of the cost (e.g. filters).
If anything, I wished it could take a bit more liquid than nothing.

This 2002 shark duo clean liftoff with no tangle PowerFins vac is awesome. Dry cat food and cat litter just disappear. The front roll grabs it and it’s gone. I had tried another new upright but was not satisfied. If the vac cannot keep up with three kitties then I don’t want it. Due to some health issues I tried to stay with a lightweight one but did not work. So I’m putting up with a bit of weight to get a machine that really does the job. And the cord length is fantastic. This vac is definitely worth a try. The duo clean and liftoff and long cord are just great. Also putting up with not having rewind which I really wanted. But this vac is worth it. I managed to see a sale at Best Buy after Christmas and grabbed one. But it works so well you won’t be disappointed at regular price. Go for it! And it practically pulls itself when you push it.

We had a Dyson before and so far this is surpassing our old vacuum. Hopefully it lasts! It is easy to maneuver on the floor and easy to switch floor types. The only thing of note is that it is a bit heavy when lifting it.

What an amazing vacuum, the suction power is GREAT! I have a Lab and all hardwood floors and it works wonders. The carpet options are amazing fpr area rugs. Delivery was quick as well. If you have a fur baby, I highly recommend.

Love this vacuum. Definitely worth the money. Was frustrated at first because the self cleaning roll was giving no me a hard time. But once I changed the settings high pile carpet it was great! I had a shark navigator before this and this is a huge upgrade. Bigger dust cup. Seems to get a deeper clean. With a German shepherd in my house this is great for deep clean days a few times a week even with a robot vacuum running daily. Had definitely decreased the overall amount of dust I’ve seen in my house as well

I was originally looking for a vacuum stick, I needed something lightweight, good suction and that could vacuum my floors, I went on and got the shark pet plus, well it sucked! Suction was very weak, it cleaned but not worth 250 in my opinion. So I went on to exchange. I did so digging and I ran into this one, yes it’s wired but I read battery dies easily on those stick wireless ones, while I wanted lightweight I need something powerful. I have kids and I’m always cleaning so I wanted something worth my money. Got this on sale, next day went back to regular price. I LOVE LOVE LOVE. It’s not the lightest in weight…. but the suction is amazing! And it kinda just glides, and works on all floors. You can also detach the canister and use it as a stick for like tighter places. I am very pleased. I’m more traditional so I think wired is what works best for me. I can clean my entire house without needed to take a break to recharge.

This vacuum is amazing! We had a Dyson Animal vacuum for over a decade that we needed to replace. The shark sucked up so much dirt and dog hair from what we thought were clean carpets. We love that the dirt canister removes so it can operate like a stick vacuumed and reach far under furniture. It also has a light on the front so you can see what you’re vacuuming and confirm floors are now clean. We are loving this Shark product and not for one second regretting not getting another Dyson.

This is the best vacuum ive ever owned! If you have pets this vacuum is for you! I love all the attachments and how good it gets the animal hair up. Even my shaggy rug, this vacuum works so good! Its a little awkward to get use to using at first because the block front is a bit heavier that some of the cordless vacs but since it works so good, I am willing to forfeit that for how awesome this vacuum is!

Purchased this in October and it worked well until it completely stopped working three months later. Thankfully, it was effortlessly exchanged for a new one at the store.
A few of the things I like: great suction on both flat and carpeted surfaces; LED lights are bright; ease of emptying canister with the drop bottom door= brilliant! Room for improvement: lights turn off when detaching handle to use accessories- tricky to see when using in dark corners and underneath furniture; the rubber tip of the accessory end is slanted, which prevents adequate suction in corners- maddening when trying to get lady bugs in corners!
Will see how this new replacement fares. I’ve been a loyal fan of Shark for many years and refuse to try other brands.

This vacuum seems much like the old shark rotaor that it repcaed which is a good thing. It feels a tad bit heavier but I could be getting old. The control are on the handle which is the proper spot for them. The duo clean is new to me but does a superior job especially on hardwood.

This is by far the best vacuum I have purchased. I recently tried to upgrade to the Shark – Cordless Pro Stick Vacuum with Clean Sense IQ and Odor Neutralizer but the quality was not worth the price. I purchased this vacuum 3 years ago and decided I needed something for my downstairs. I highly recommend this one since 1 pass picks up without hesitation. I love that hair does not get stuck in the rollers. Everyone who comes over and vacuums always says how great of a vacuum this one is.
