    The Sennheiser headphones were a birthday gift for my husband. He really likes them and how good they are at helping him hear tv. They are very good at noise canceling.

    Fantastic product. I’m an IT guy with 35 years exp. Bought it for my 98 year old World War II veteran Dad. Unfortunately he could not make the change, since his shoulders are failing and putting them on was difficult. I tried them and thought they were fantastic. Thanks Best Buy and your partners.

    Have been using them daily for 6-8 hrs a day for a while now. Charge has been holding up for ~12hrs of use on a full charge, getting them to properly sit on the tower can be a nuisance at times.
    They fit great, lightweight compared to other headsets. Easy controls on the tower and headset. Choice of optical and 3.5 inputs for audio.

    They sound great, dont get me wrong. The digital sound is clear as it gets, and the highs and lows are great. I appreciate the sound. Thepriblem is the quality and comfort. The design allows the head phones to charge however really impact the comfort. The ear muffs are constructed with cheap cover that will wear down easily. Wxpexcted more from sennheiser.

    These are the best tv headphones i have purchased. I watch alot of tv and these are amazing because there could be other people in the room with lots of sound and i cant hear anything but tv. Sound quality is also very nice. the sound is so crisp and it has amazing bass boost.

    I had an earlier model of these headphones. A foam pad on the ear. These are a lot heavier. The sound is good, they are totally over the ear and the vinyl surrounding the ears get sweaty in warm weather…
    I have not had the issues with sound dropping off as others mentioned. When hanging back on the docking transmitter / charger after using you have to make sure it clicks in the right place in order to charge . Not as easy as the earlier model

    The sound is great and since these are over the ear headphones, they really deaden ambient noise amazingly. They are a bit snug, so I have to periodically readjust them for long-term wearing comfort.
    Charging is a bit tricky. You have to play with them a bit when you put them on the charging stand to get them in the correct position. I also find that the charge doesn’t last as long as my old Sennheiser HDR 120 headphones, which I still use on TV in a different room.
    Set up was pretty straight forward with the optical connection, though I was glad I had read some of the Q&As before purchasing. It’s the only reason I knew I had to set
    the audio output to PCM.
    One downside for us is we can’t have one person listen through headphones and one listening through the television. I suspect it’s because we do not have a soundbar or other audio components hooked up to the TV. Our setting choices are either TV speakers or Audio system on our Sony Bravia XR77A80L OLED TV. Not a deal breaker though. Still enjoying great sound!

    They work fantastic!!! I can hear the tv again!!! Everyone around me can talk as loud as they want and I can hear the tv with no problem. Finally, problem solved. Headset is very comfortable to wear and the controls are easy to use. Great surround sound too. Highly recommend.

    Easy to set up on TV or soundbar but need to get a splitter to connect. Ear pads are comfortable on ears but controls on ear pads are a little difficult for my 91-year-old mother to operate. Sound keeps cutting out and have to move the stand around to find place where the sound does not work intermittently. May need to get a longer connecting wire from the TV to the stand to find a place where the sound is not always cutting in and out. Once you find that place, the headphones work great.

    I have been using HDR 170 model for years. The charging stand has not been working for a couple of years and I was tired of changing the batteries. I still use the old model when I am going to be sweaty when working out. The new model has more bells and whistles when managing the sound. I really like it.

    From all the different head phones we’ve tried, these are by far the BEST set; clear, crisp sound with adjustability and comfortable snug fit. Definitely worth the value!

    We’ve only had them a short time but, they work. I will have to reevaluate once we’ve had them for a while. I saw bad ratings due to the ear covers disintegrating, so we will see. But right now, I will highly recommend them.

    I use these for listening to TV. My hearing is not as good as it once was, and headphones allow me to watch TV without disturbing my wife. I had an older Sennheiser headphone. This was a Christmas treat to myself. The RS 175 RF is awesome. The fiber-optic connection provides flawless performance.
