    Best hard drive for the best price. The Seagate Barracuda truly is the defenition of evolution. Ten years ago this HDD would cost ~$500, now theyre around and under $50. The Seagate is the best you can buy too, with 2TB of storage and 7200 RPM speeds of disk reading, almost as good as an SSD

    Great storage! Very affordable compared to m.2 ssd storage prices but holds about the same quality and speed. Would recommend for someone looking for affordable storage that’s fast and reliable. Been using it about a year now with no issues or download times. Highly recommend!

    I would have to give it a 4 based on the loading speeds
    But I bought this for my 14 year old and he doesn’t see the difference
    I recommend this for extra doc storage or light gaming (Minecraft, Fortnite)

    This product was easy to install and it worked great in my system. I continue to use it on a daily basis, and it seems to have to durability to last.

    I bought this hard drive about 1 1/2 years ago. I use it for various 3D rendering programs. It has had no problems at all so far.
    I’ve had lots of luck with Seagate over the years and have stayed with the brand consistently.
    I always try to research specific drives first before purchasing, tho. I think that’s what has helped me in avoiding problems.

    I was glad to order this it was cheap and 2tb is plenty of storage would recommend it but sure your computer can fit it or you might have to custom fit it.

    i originally had a older series Barracuda and it worked fine still is so i saw no reason to not get the new series and it works just as great with a lot of my non SSD games on other HDDs youd be suprised how much stuff you fit on 2TBs

    I usually never use or recommend Hdd’s anymore but since I tend to do a lot of gaming and music recording, I wanted a drive to hold photos, videos and music files without using my ssds. This is a great for fairly static storage and a lot faster than my old 1tb that wasn’t 7200rpm.

    I bought this to replace a WD Black 750GB drive that failed after six years. Two TB is more than I need but was the best value available at the time. Easy setup and works flawlessly. It should or I don’t know what I’m doing. I would recommend this to anybody.

    I have always gotten dependable service with Seagate hard drives. Over a period of 8 years and building desktop PCs for my family here and in Alabama out of more than 12 drives purchased during that 8 years I only had issues with 2. Seagate replaced them under warranty in short order. Other brands ran 30% or higher failures. 2 problem drives out of more than 12 in 8 years speaks volumes about the quality and dependability of their drives. We have 4 home computers all with 2 or more hard drives in them now running Windows OSs from Windows 10 back to a couple of legacy build PCs running Windows 95 OSR 2.5, Windows 98 SE, Windows XP and Windows 7. All are running Seagate drives. 2 drives each in the Windows 95 and 98 PCs and 3 each in the XP and Win7 PCs. My Windows 10 Pro is running 4 Seagate drives. A 2GB system and 3 X 4GB program/game drives. I will continue using Seagate HDs until they stop making them or their quality drops below my standards. No sign of that happening any time soon.

    Mine had to be replaced under warrantee by Seagate shortly after I installed it, as it started making a whistling noise that turned out to be a defect. Seagate was great about it, but it still was an inconvenience.

    Relatively fast and quiet compared to my primary NVME storage. Very satisfied. No installation problems but keep in mind you get the drive only and nothing else.

    My old Baracuda 1 TB drive died after 8 years of 24X7X365 operation. I decided to upgrade to the 2TB version. It is quiet and fast. It gets warm but the PC fans keep it in the safe zone

    For some reason these products (hard drives) are no longer available in the actual store. And i find that annoying. I go to stores to see the products available in a “hands on” manner and make visual comparisons. But I guess that’s an old fashioned expectation.
    So, I went to the store just to place an online order with the cashier.

    It’s the perfect choice when starting to build your first computer. If you already have a hard drive with a good amount of storage, at least a terabyte, would recommend getting an internal ssd. But if you don’t, then this is the perfect choice, especially when building your first.
