    This Type-C flash drive works great with my Galaxy Pro Book. I purchased an USB/Type C adapter and an Ultra Fit flask drive earlier that I transfer files from 2 other laptops and use the Type C drive for my personal files from them and emails without using my hard drive. It fits neatly and safely in the port next to my power cord.

    Nice size, BUT…so hard to open & close. I havevto use a screwdriver or end of pen to open in order to plug in. I would have returned, but already threw away packaging. I bought 2 different capacities & both have same problem. Tossed them.

    Extremely fast transfer speeds with usb-c. Small size and good capacity. Very useful taking along presentations along. With free download from sandisk website, you can encryption software which will let you carry sensitive information without fear of losing the memory stick

    Transferring 16GB to this gets particularly hot.
    Just sitting still with no transfers it gets noticeably warm.

    I’m using it at the end of an extension cable, and I don’t think I’ll be ever plugging it in directly at this temperature.

    Still. I just installed an OS from it, and it worked fine.

    It’s a flash drive. Don’t expect SSD performance, protect your machine from its possible heat-death and whatever form that might take, and it’s fine.

    It isn’t always recognized and needs unplugged and plugged back in; not dinging a star for it overall because it’s at the end of a long’ish extension cable.

    2 stars off due to the heat. I know they get warm, but this is actually hot. You can sort of hold it when it’s that hot. Too disinterested to take such an inexpensive, limited use item back for a replacement.

    I’ve now used the SanDisk Ultra64 Type-C on both a new Windows laptop and an Apple MacPro and found the ability to share files back and forth seamless and fast. Going from SSDs to the flash drive via a Thunderbolt port is a flash.

    It is USBC only, and a lot of the world still needs USB A. The length of the drive is kind of awkward, but it works just fine and the price was good.

    Was in a hurry to get some Linux server builds finished. Laptop only has USB-c and For some reason, the ISO was having trouble going through my USB-c hub. Bought 2 of these, drove across town. Everything worked.

    It’s a flashdrive. Needed something for a new MacBook. It’s very convenient. The design to extend and retract the USB C connector isn’t the most intuitive and if you hold the sides too tight it’s hard to extend it. A minor gripe. Performance is also nothing to write home about . But it’s an inexpensive Type C Flash drive that just lets me transfer files between my Windows Desktop and my MacBook.

    I’m sure it’s great but i got wrong format or type. This connects to your phone, not laptop for transfer from phone to laptop. Gonna return, it’s weird for me. Old school in transferring stuff.

    Just double check you’ve slid it open all the way. The good thing is that you don’t have to worry about it becoming loose.
    I would buy this again.

    This thumb drive transfers data quickly. I use it in my Tesla to listen to music. There is no lag or issues with reading the data. Got it on sale which makes it even sweeter!

    works good, fast to write and read. The only issue why I am not putting 5 starts, is that sometimes is hard to retract or put back the plug in use position. Is a little too long.
    Wrote a 2.1Gb in about a minute.
    If it came with a software, can’t tell about it since I didn’t use it, the first thing I do is to format these things.

    I daily drive a live install of ubuntu on this and have never had any problems, it’s held up great and i’d recommend. Just dont make a live install of windows as that will degrade the drive VERY quickly lol

    It stores stuff, a lot of stuff. Without testing it appears to be pretty quick transfer. So handy to be able to plug into my phone, download stuff and transfer it to my pc.
