    This is my go to ssd drive. The 2TB extreme pro is fast and efficient. I have Had zero issues so far and plan on buying more.

    Drive was easy to connect and had fast transfers. Random disconnects caused data corruption. I spent way too long troubleshooting, only to find Sandisk has had a rash of issues they can’t seem to fix. Returned the drive and got an internal nvme.

    I use these drives for my video production work. Other drives such as the Samsung T7 are good drives but the cache and write firmware on them makes it so you cannot get 4k and more video to write consistently, so I go with these drives. I record off of the Black Magic ATEM Extreme ISO, and then take them over to the computer and edit straight off of them. I have 10 of them so far. The seem to work great.

    I’m using it as a backup for my 2tb home PC.
    I have it connected via a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 20Gbps Type-C port on my PC to run weekly backups. The drive is not super fast, but it’s fine for what I need. It’s super light and portable – the size of my Android phone, so ideal if you need an external drive for your laptop or whatever. And it’s 2TB so should be enough for whatever you need to do.

    Easy to use, very fast, haven’t had any problems with it. I do wish it had come with a USB cable that had both a USB-C and USB-A ends on it for the end that plugs into your computer – rather than 2 separate cables. Just so I wouldn’t have to keep track of another cable!

    So useful to use for large events videos and pictures, to keep in one place. Very fast to transfer files. Becomes very handy to have one external drive vs multiple small USB’s. Will recommend to buy during large sales, before school, Thanksgiving, etc.

    This is an excellent portable SSD. The speeds are awesome, and it is capable of allowing powerful PCs to run Starfield, although with some hiccups. It must be plugged in through USB-C to be fast.

    Have used SanDisk products for over 20 years. Have not failed me yet, so will keep buying. This 2TB storage device is the perfect second backup for my important files when I need to move or travel. Simple to use as well.

    I purchased 2 of these at the same time in-store back in April 2023. Less than 3 months. June, I had one of them “unmount themselves”, or unexpectedly disconnect from my Mac computer. As a photographer, I bought these for the ability to safely store my photography. Best Buy, still sells these and they are defective. SanDisk knows they are defective and they continue to sell them and not disclose the public. The product is suppose to have a 3 year warranty and they have even lasted that long. Western Digital which is who owns SanDisk is allowing consumers to buy defective products and if they can’t repair or recover the item they give you a refurbished. As a photographer, I can not put that trust in these hard drives. Losing data and not being able to recover them is the worst feeling as an artist, a veteran, and it tarnishes my brand. I would not recommend this for any of your storage needs. Return it for a refund when you have the chance.

    Fast and easy replacement drive for external back up or taking files on the go. Interface with Mac OSX is simple one step set up. Download speeds are excellent and size and construction are also very well executed. My new favorite external drive for MacBook or desktop computers of any kind .

    I’ve used only SanDisk products for all my Multimedia career and stand behind their products but unfortunately, for the first time, I’m dealt with this Extreme Pro 2TB just starting to have issues after 7 months… It was connected, I went to the bathroom and I came back wondering why no files were on the drive… so I ejected and tried to connect it again but now it is not readable but any device. I have an Extreme 1TB that is still doing fine (fingers crossed) after several years but this newer, Extreme Pro 2TB one worked amazing up until about 2 hrs ago. Been doing research online and realized there was a major issue from multiple users including a lawsuit as well! I wish I knew before I purchased! My boss and clients are going to be very unhappy. If I still even have a job after this…I hope I can recover the data 🙁

    I like it – will get a larger capacity drive later but for now it works well for my purposes. It is of a physical size that it is easy to pack in my briefcase when traveling and ruggedized to where I am not overconcerned about damage.

    in less than 6 months im having to do a data recovery twice to get 8 years of pictures restored. I,m not the only person with this model that has this problem . Ive always had good look with sandisk untill this product. ive spent just as much recovering my photos as what i paid for this crap
