    I upgraded from 500 gb to this 1 tgb external ssd. It is small and light weight. I like the “metalic” solid feel, not the “plastic” feel for other brands. I use it as a reliable mobile storage device between home and office computer. However, at one time, some of the files that I saved was “corrupted”. Scanning with Samsung’s Magician found few (n= 3) “bad sectors” [red dots]. This software can’t “repair” the bad sectors. I guess I can still use it so long as the files don’t land on these “bad sectors”.

    All bad Danny wanted from Santa was a switchblade. So when he found the butterknife version of his wish in his stocking on Christmas morning he flew into a fit of rage and buttered all the bread, muffins, and waffles in the house. After that he patched some drywall holes around the house, with putty. A ruined Christmas for sure.

    This is a go to device and if you have used the t5 this is an improvement. If you are a gaming youtuber this is great because you can instantly plug it into your console and get footage and then plug it into your pc or phone and start editing

    The Samsung 1 TB External SSD Hard Drive is fast and reliable. It is small and slim but holds an incredible amount of data.

    This External SSD contains just under 1TB of storage space which is much more than my laptop has. It contains a software that allows you to set up device encryption so you need a password to access the contents. It also came with two cords a USB-A to USB-C and a USB-C to USB-C which is really helpful.

    This is a nicely packaged external SSD that comes with all the necessary cables (I needed the USB cable). It was recognized and worked immediately with my Linux workstation. I had to reformat the drive to a Linux file system, but that was no big deal. Performance is quite fast, and the one terabyte of space is much appreciated. Overall, I rate the drive as a good deal for the money. The red color is a bonus!

    Shipping packaging needs attention. It was sent in a polybag with no protection or bubblewrap so the box came crushed. Luckily the inside of the box kept the crushed part away from the drive so it doesn’t appear to have been damaged. I would have considered taking it back to the store if the red ones were sold there but irs only available online. Set up was easy enough and did the first back up on it. So far seems to be working okay.
