I bought 2 and returned both. You have to download an app to your phone or tablet to set them up, which I did. They would disconnect from the smart things app and the app couldn’t find them after setup. I unplugged the sound bars and my router so many times it was ridiculous. Also uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. So, i gave up and returned both sound bars.

This review is for the Q800C without rear surround speakers. Used with Apple TV and remote. Installation is easy, but you’ll find the on-line manual very helpful in understanding how the soundbar remote works to set the relative volumes of top, center, and side speakers; and also choose modes. The Apple remote will take over on/off, overall volume, and selection of streaming apps. Stereo effect is detectable, not striking. Atmos is nonexistent (for 12’ ceiling and vegas). Bass is excellent. Voice is good, not great. Plenty of volume. There are myriad adjustments, including an equalizer using the SmartThings app, but those by the soundbar remote are the most significant. The soundbar in my installation is really a 3.1 system, and for many-channel sources cannot compare with my 5.1 system with 5 separate speakers and a sub. Maybe adding the rear surround speakers would change that? Overall I am happy with this soundbar – I was not expecting more.

This phone has big keys which are helpful to me. Announcement of name of person calling is nice however the announcer could use some help with the pronunciation of many names. Have not tried the call blocker portion as it seems dofficult to set up. Love that 5 handsets come with this phone so we can place them all around. Recorded message light is very small and flashes does not show how many messages are recorded.Generally i think this is a good phone.

I bought this after intending to buy the HWB550 or the Q60. I went to the store and while I was impressed, it just wasn’t enough to go with my new Samsung S90 tv. I happened to find the samsung rep in store and he was really helpfull and explained differences and capabilities to me. He didn’t push me to buy one or the other, but after hearing this in store, it was a no brainer. Movies and sports are fantastic. I highly reccomend staying with Samsung if you have a Samsung TV. I didn’t think it would, but the Q-Sympony feature definatly adds some immersive sound to the already amazing soundbar. The sub is wireless and so far there is no delay in bass.
I do feel like you need to play with the settings to your liking, This bar has a adaptive mode that “senses” your room and adjusts accordingly. I didn’t really like it, so I have been manually tuning the settings. I do like the option to add rear speakers if we choose, but right now, this is more than what I was expecting.
All in all this is a great sound and features for the price point which in my opinion is on the upper middle end of the soundbar options.

This product is difficult to set up. The sound from the TV fades. I have to use the TV controller to work the volume. I will need the Geek Squad in order to make it work correctly. I just have not called them yet

I like it but I really prefer my LG 5.1.3 best (Best Buy was out of it at Christmas) ..but its fine for my 65″ OLED. Just not the best imo as the LG is.

Great sound bar with plenty of bass. Only reason I am not giving 5 is because i feel 1000 is a bit much. I gotnit on sale for fornjnder 6 and i feel that is much more reasonable for what it is.
