    Bear in mind i did not add heatsink. Aware i probably should have got one but i was feeling cheap. No issues as of now. Would recommend easily for the price i paid

    Performs like normal. Samsung Magician showed it only had 2tb written and 36 hours total prior to me recieiving it. Not too bad. Starfield loading times are awesome with it.

    I purchased several Samsung 980 PRO SSDs, and I have to say I’m disappointed. Most of them arrived without proper packaging or a box. This lack of packaging raises concerns about their authenticity and overall quality. While the SSD itself might be decent, the presentation and packaging issues are concerning. Two stars for the product due to these packaging concerns.

    Decent for a refurbished drive, Samsung magician shows there was 4TB previously written, During benchmarking it got super hot and still pulled 6800mb/sec, really needs a heatsink. Overall, didn’t die and satisfies my game storage needs.

    Perfect condition, no damage. Runs as fast as expected, Crystal Disks show it as no issues. As far as I can tell it might as well been new or was new. Fast as heck for gaming or and the ps5. I had a 1TB that I moved to the ps5.

    Looks like it was just a customer return, looks brand new. I have had 0 issues with this drive. I use it in my gaming pc that I also use for watching tv and movies. The speeds are incredibly fast, takes about 10 seconds for my pc to start up.

    This is my 2nd Samsung 980 pro nvme. I have no complaints on this 2tb or the 1tb. I had been using the 870 SSD and upgraded to nvme.

    I scored mine for leas than $100 and will defineltly say it has performed better than expected. I used mine for my Ps5 and it works so well! Most defiently needed the extra space! Zero issues so far! Worth every penny!

    Solid SSD. Great price. Bottom falling out of the NAND market has made SSDs crazy affordable. Replaced existing SSDs with this unit (2TB) in both my laptop and desktop PCs. This unit runs cool…even under heavy workloads rarely gets above 135 degrees F in my laptop.

    This “refurbished” drive arrived with very low read/write and power on counts suggesting it was hardly used before it was returned, so these drives are a great value compared to brand new drives.

    Item was like new and immediately recognized after installing. As a secondary drive, you have to use Disk Management to initialize and partition before use, so if you’re not sure how to do that, it’s not hard, just search for it and follow instructions that you find; it’s only a couple steps.
    The drive is fast and makes video editing directly from it easy, and games load quickly.

    great drive but it showed up wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap, no box or anything. zero protection at all. Hardware-wise it’s great but to ship it like this is horrible and it was 3 days late.

    This was one of the 980 Pros that were affected by the firmware issue that leads to corrupted and non-functional drives. Fortunately I found out just as I got my m.2 and was able to update the firmware to fix the issue. Overall about 5000 MB read/write speeds in a Gen4 slot. Make sure to format it as GPT like your boot drive so you can use Resizable BAR with your 3000-Series NVIDIA graphics card.

    Was sent a brand new 990 pro with heatsink. Would’ve been sweet if it was just the regular 990 pro. But unfortunately i cant use the heatsink.

    I don’t usually buy refurbished SSD but since its Best Buy I thought I’d give it a shot. Caution for those individuals who maybe using this as an external drive.

    – The SSD was in a loose non-anti-static bag.
    – Unformatted (usually SSD have been formatted for 1st time use)

    HD seemed to format ok, but hope its as good as a new one.

    I got this SSD just about a year ago and still works flawlessly. No issues and super fast. I use this SSD for my PlayStation 5 and still has enough space for any other games in the future. It seems to be perfectly compatible with PlayStation 5 and I have a Heatsink on it so it won’t over heat while using it. Definitely worth it and pretty affordable.

    Bought it expecting a repaired drive, got a basically unused ssd. Using samsungs ssd manager, I checked the write life and it only said around 230gb, with most used drives in the terabytes.

    Ok, so I ordered this for my PC at $105. It’s been functioning pretty well and everything works good! However, when I first plugged it in I was having trouble in the Bios. It kept on appearing as “RAID” as opposed to just standard “NVME.” This led to some issues when trying to install the windows operating system onto the ssd during setup. It wouldn’t appear as a bootable device. My theory is that (since it’s refurbished)
    it was used in a previous RAID system (multiple storage units acting as one) and when it was being wiped this particular setting of the bios wasn’t switched. This would explain its funky behavior, as the SSD was having a little bit of an identity crisis as it was now separated from the rest of its original RAID configuration. My dad figured out how to reset this setting back to NVME and now it works completely perfectly! Also, by the way, in windows it will show up as 1.81 TB because windows measures stuff as TiB, now TB, but still labels it TB. If you wanna know more watch a video on the difference between the two units. If anyone has questions please ask me! I love talking about this type of stuff 😀
