    Got this drive after my wd blue ssd died abruptly after less than a year of use (thankfully backed up my files just a week or so before) and man, I can actually notice a difference in how much better my computer runs. Not that I would expect this drive to outperform something more expensive, but its definitely a good drive for the money. I was also pleased to see that it is in a metal enclosure, so bonus points.

    I bought a new refurbished i7 HP Elite Desk Workstation Edition that had a Standard SATA 1 TB Hard Drive. The first thing I wanted to do was replace the old 1 TB SATA HD with a new SSD. I purchased this Samsung 870 EVO and couldn’t be happier with it’s performance. Installation was a breeze. I purchased the Sabrent SATA Hard Drive/SSD to USB 3.0 Adapter from Best Buy to clone the current drive. The 870 EVO came with Magician Software and the Sabrent adapter came with Acronis Cloning Software. I used The Magician and it worked perfectly.

    Another great Samsung SSD. This unit is a great price to performance and reliability offering. It pretty much maxes out a SATA III link on reads and writes nearly as well, so I couldn’t ask for more.

    I have been working on computers for over 20 years and over 10 years is my own business and I love to use these solid state drives to make my clients computers brand new again

    these solid state drives are just as dependable as Samsung’s other SSDs and in all my years I’ve installed over a hundred of these and not once had a single one of these come back

    from my experience from one of my peers they also have an easier warranty process to work with than their competitors who has now started making their website even more difficult to navigate versus crucial where you can still get a hold of a human being who speaks English in America by phone number to process a warranty

    Also on performance tests while sometimes disk drive I’ll performs stated statistics although I do not like the price on these has gone up compared to what they used to be

    I clone a lot of client hard drives and desktops and laptops by SATA to these salt state drives The only problem is getting these fast enough to keep up with my inventory when I need them and I’ve noticed that they’re getting harder and harder to find at the Best buy stores here in Austin

    Also I have a direct vendor account with Best buy and I buy lots of salt state drives restock in addition to suppliers especially when I have short notice computer repair search and appointments in cloning drives I tend to reach out to Samsung and not get anything whereas I can get with Best buy going to a shop find a representative have them take me to the case where they need the keys unlock get me to solid state drives I need and get me out within a reasonable time

    again from a performance standpoint I have had nothing but great experiences with these solid state drives exceeding my client’s expectations and what they need and the price point on these is far more affordable than some of their competitors again only challenges finding them when I need them

    Thr SSD works well. I got it because I needed more space and the 1TB works well and it was extremelyeasy to install. I will be saving up for the 4TB.
