    Very satisfied with this dryer. Ordered on line and was surprised on the size that I can dry my king comforter. I also like different settings.

    I have to run the cycle on the machine more than once which shouldn’t be necessary on a new machine inside a new construction home.

    We purchased this dryer about 4 years ago. We have had to replace fuses and heating elements in at least twice a year for the past 3 years. I do not recommend this dryer. When it works, it’s great but we have to repair it about every 5-6 months.

    Lasted 3 years and the heating element went out. It will cost almost as much as I paid for the dryer to get it fixed. Buy elsewhere.

    Very nice dryer the only thing I would say I have a problem with is the sensor in the dryer. If the sensor feels thinks your clothes is dry enough the dryer will turn off each time you turn it on. So it’s kind of hard to dry things like blankets. But over it’s a very good dryer.

    I love my new dryer. The only thing it is missing is a light inside. Other than that, I love the different drying modes it has and the sound the dryer makes when the load is done, although it does sound like the neighborhood ice cream truck. Lol!

    Dryer not heating just after the 1 year warranty by a month. That’s ridiculous it it’s like that with almost everything now. Throw way product once out of warranty. What a joke Samsung is!

    Purchased in Nov. 2019 – Lasted one year one month. Samsung will not work with you and unless you purchased “extra” warranty from best buy, your screwed. Expect to have a repair man out within 18 months and charge you as much for repair as the dryer itself. Buyer beware!!

    I am very frustrated with this dryer. In the past 4.5 years, it’s required three different repairs…costing more than the dryer itself. I’m hoping it holds out a little longer, but I’m really upset about this purchase. Feels like I wasted my money on something that should have way better longevity without these issues and certainly not three repair visits in under 5 years. For what we paid, I’m surprised that Best Buy or Samsung hasn’t recognized the multiple visits and offered to replace the unit vs. just repairing it over and over again. This is my first Samsung appliance purchase and I doubt I will be repeating it.

    I bought this dryer in July of 2020. The weather was so good I was drying clothes outside and didn’t even use the dryer until end of August. Once I started using it I really liked it. It worked just fine. Easy to use, dried clothes great and had a happy tune at end of cycle. Then March 7 2020, I put a load in and pressed “on” and nothing. Checked everything. Wouldn’t turn on. Called Samsung and set up a service call. It was one week out. Technician arrived. Had to order part. Another week. Technician arrived. It was the wrong part. He ordered another part. This time had to wait two weeks for him to return! So now it’s been 4 weeks without my dryer working. He replaced the main control board and door clip. Dryer still doesn’t work. He says the techs at Samsung warranty tell him he needs to order a motor! So now I have to wait for him to order the motor and come back! The tech is very friendly and says “this dryer is a lemon” “It’s because it’s under warranty they are giving you the run around” “You have only had this dryer for 7 months when it stopped working. You should request Samsung to replace it with a new one.” So I call Samsung but they tell me they are putting me in a queue for a call back sometime in the next 48 – 72 hours! I am a single mom with a disabled daughter who needs assistance with all daily living skills. I understand things go wrong and need repair, however, I am still looking at least another two weeks without a dryer and I don’t have much faith a new motor is going to fix it! Samsung needs better customer support.

    Purchased this model in December 2016. Since then the belt tensioner pulley burned itself out after less than 3 years. A year later came a loud buzzing noise that comes and goes with no explanation. Now the rollers need to be replaced because it sound like an out of balance clothes washer. The replacement parts are no better than the original, so the problems will happen again.

    I have never experience so much trouble with a simple clothes dryer. It is dying after only 5 years, and I use it only twice per week.

    After only a year and a half, this dryer’s drum stopped working (as far as I can tell right now). I unfortunately thought “oh, nothing will happen to it.” I DIDN’T get a protection plan, how about that? I spent a good $400/$500 on this piece of junk and there’s no proper help? ONLY A YEAR WARRANTY, really? Now, I’m left with a dryer that isn’t working and I have to order service to get it repaired through the manufacturer. DO NOT BUY. Also, at the time of delivery and install, the person from best buy that installed the dryer did a TERRIBLE job connecting our vent. When I checked back there its all smashed up! I don’t know if this is what eventually caused our issue or not (the technician told us he had some trouble with the vent at the time of installation, but didn’t realize it was that bad). Whatever. I’m sure we won’t get any help, other than having to spend an entire paycheck repairing/replacing this whole thing.

    Fantastic dryer. Purchased it over a year ago and it is still going great. No issues whatsoever. I can put a full load in and it will fully dry it after one cycle. Our previous dryer we would have to run it a couple of times before big loads were fully dry. We also love the big door; it makes is easy to load and unload the laundry.

    I bought this dryer about 3 years ago and it’s awesome!! The settings are perfect and The top more dry setting senses the clothes and dries them in a good amount of time. I never used the time dry (plus my button was always stuck) but no worries. Everything else was good to go.

    My dryer is a little over 18 months old and one of the heating elements failed. If your looking for a temporary dryer and don’t plan on keeping it longer then 2 years, definitely pick this one up because it’s bound to fail.

    This dryer is a fire hazard waiting to happen. I have had this dryer for barely 2 years. It will not shut off automatically. We have to set a reminder on our phone for an hour to make sure we take the clothes out or the dryer will go on for up fo 6 – 8 hours until it freaks out and all the lights start flashing (I guess it realizes it’s too hot?). We will probably get rid of this dryer and get something never. Never will we buy Samsung appliances again

    So disappointed. Motor went out after 3.5yrs, $400+ to fix. They don’t make ‘em like they used to it seems. Should have bought a Whirlpool instead. The capacity is great for family but no good if doesn’t work.

    Purchased August of 2020 for a family of 2. We probably do 3 loads of laundry a week on average. The first repair was needed literally a month after the one year warranty expired. Required a new drum belt and drum rollers. The drum has been squeaking for about 6 months. Then yesterday went to turn on with a sm-med size load of daily clothes and the drum is grinding so loudly that I definitely dont feel safe running it.
    Thankfully this dryer isnt available anymore but of your looking at reviews because you plan to buy one used, dont. Youll end up either sinking money into repairs or cutting up your own hands getting in there to fix it yourself. I personally will never buy a Samsung dryer again.
