I love most things about this Wine Cooler except that the fan is too loud. I did see that same comment in another review before I bought it. It is just irritating to me, so I often close the door to the room where the wine cooler is. If it is freed standing. I don’t know if mounting it in a cabinet would significantly reduce the noise level. But it is something to think about.

I just received my cooler this past week. It looks great in the kitchen under counter. Very quiet and seems to hold the temperature, upper unit spot on, lower unit within 2 degrees. I feel like you have to press too hard on the control panel buttons to change the settings and not easy to read.
The LED lights would not go out when the door is closed. The owners manual does not address that. Some how it now functions when opening & closing.

As I write this I am waiting for my 3rd delivery of the mini fridge. The 1st one was badly damaged on the top and they put it back on the truck. After waiting another week or so, we have another one of the same but this one has been a bit temperamental in holding a set temperature (two zones). Because of the volatility we are asking to exchange-waiting on delivery. Hopefully 3 times a charm and this one will work. Aside from that we like the fridge. Holds 51 bottles, is pretty quiet.

Let’s start this review by saying how much I enjoy the Samsung 51-Bottle Wine Cooler (RW51TS338SR). I was so excited for this product because I work for a large wine conglomerate that owns many wineries. The perk of that job is I get a product allowance and free bottles of wine shipped to my house on a regular basis. With my bottles of wine stacking up in the closet, I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase the Samsung Wine Cooler. I am more of a red wine drinker, but I was pleased to find that the fridge has two compartments to store red and white/rose/sparkling wines! I loaded up my wine fridge and was please about the quality of the product, typical of a Samsung product. And the configuration was easy; plug it in and adjust your dual temperature zones to your liking. I was able to fit 51 bottles (please don’t judge me) into the wine fridge with ease with the 5 shelves inside. You will need to place each wine bottle vertically and place the second bottle vertically upside so it’s a seamless fit with no gaps! I was surprised by the distance between the shelves because I was able to fit in large sparkling bottles of wine (ones with bigger bases) into the shelves and the shelves accommodated the larger sizes. One touch that I love is that you can adjust the LED lighting in the fridge to have it on constantly even when the door is closed or to have the light on only when opening the fridge. I currently have it placed in the kitchen, and it seems like it is part of the cabinetry. This product is sleek for its size, but it does house a lot of wine so be sure you plan on having a large but cozy space to fit this in. My one and only negative is that I wish Samsung would put the logo on the outside of the fridge – there is a logo inside but its impossible to see unless the fridge is open. No one would know that this is a Samsung product unless the fridge is open, and if they are looking inside. Other than that, this product is solid. I have received many compliments on the wine cooler and look forward to my shipments of wine and not having to worry about the storing temperature since it gets extremely hot where I live. Great product!

I was really excited about this unit but have had multiple issues. The display/motherboard went out within the first 6 months and was able to get that replaced at no cost through Samsung. However, the same display/motherboard went out again three months later and Samsung would not replace. I have no idea what temperature it is running at now and it would be an expensive fix. When it comes to Samsung, stick to their TVs only.

Incredibly disappointed with the service I’ve received due to this malfunctioning product. $1500 for a wine fridge that has no temp control and a display that acts like a strobe light, not to mention the cold air blasting from the bottom grate for no reason. I wasted 2 hours of my life this morning trying to get assistance and kept being transferred to different people and given different numbers to call until I finally hit a dead end. So unacceptable. This fridge worked for 3 months before it started going haywire and apparently nothing can be done about it? Horrible customer service.

I bought this wine frig based on dimensions and reviews. It is really pretty and quiet. I got lucky with the fit! I’d recommend having a width about 1 inch bigger than the actual refrigerator if installing it within a cabinet area.

So far I have been impressed with this unit. Bought it for the clean, modern design and the brand reputation (good experience with other Samsung products). It hasn’t disappointed. keeps wine at desired temperature. The control interface could be improved – somewhat non-intuitive and sometimes require multiple preses of a button. Luckily, once temperature is set you don’t really need to mess with it again. Compressor is reasonably quiet – much more stealthy than the 2 door GE Monogram fridge it is next to. Overall – highly recommended

I’ve had this unit a few weeks now and am very happy with the sleek design and quiet motor. It seems to store at the correct temp, though I haven’t added a thermometer to verify.
With a little careful planning, I was able to store 46 bottles, including several large CA pinot bottles, and some smaller late harvest splits. I only wish that I’d bought it sooner!
Much nicer than the Avanti cooler that I had before (which died after just a few years).

Love this wine fridge!! It’s so nice and sleek and all my bottles (of various sizes) actually fit very easily, which never worked for my old wine fridge! It’s a little more snug with some of the wider/thicker bottles, but it still has room to fit those and closes easily without damaging the labels. I posted a photo of one drawer with standard size bottles and the other drawer with various sized/wider bottles than never would fit 8 bottles in a drawer with my last fridge that broke! Happy with my purchase!
