Bought in 2017 and worked great until it didn’t after 4 years. I had a repair man over to look at it and he couldn’t figure out why it would not get passed the rinse cycle.

Almost exactly after one year from purchase date, stopped working. It gets stuck in the rinse cycle and won’t transition to a spin. Only has a 1 year warranty per Samsung customer service. Literally am stuck without a washing machine at this point until I have to pay for it to be fixed.
What a waste of money, only functioned as expected for one year. Look for another brand to go with, this product is trash.

It’s swanky looking and I love that we. An add to the load, but that’s where it ends. I didn’t like early on to find that you can’t manipulate the wash cycle easily… but then real issues rather than inconveniences cropped up. Just after the one-year manufacturer warranty expired (of course), the machine started leaking. And not like a tiny dribble, but like an entire washer full of water. It ran under our dryer and across our laundry room floor. Our son slipped and hit his head (literally a golf ball-sized knot from it, but thankfully okay) and our baseboard behind the machines are warped. After this happened a couple of times, we then started having “SUD” and “5C” errors. We’ve had multiple service calls through BB (geek squad coverage) and OF COURSE it doesn’t leak during that time. The last call, the tech found that the leak comes from the back (top portion, not the vent at the bottom), based on how it was a clean line down, whereas the rest had some collected lint. Now, I thought the error codes were a result of putting too much detergent but that isn’t the case. No matter how much or how little, it randomly does it now. All of this to say, I cannot STAND this washer. I am so frustrated that we spent this amount of money and have all of these issues.

I had trouble with washer from day one. Actually had to return the original washer with the first 2 weeks. Samsung delived a new one and I have had problems with it from day one. I have to call my home warranty company out at least once a year. Well, 4 years later it finally stopped working. THAT’S RIGHT, IT LASTED 4 YEARS. Would not recommend this model.

I purchased this washer 3 years ago and I have no complains as it has performed well, clothes smell and look clean regardless of the challenge. I play soccer, basketball, and ride a MB on a trail, and this washers keeps my wardrobe and bedding 100% clean.
I called Samsung days after I purchased it because there was a grinding sound during the the rotation of the rinse cycle coming from the back, but it disappeared after a few days. The technicians checked the washer in 2 different occasions because I called them twice to ensure everything was ok, and they did not find any problems.
I have been very vigilant on the performance, sound, and the washer has fulfilled my expectations. The pedestal makes it a bit noise during the spin, but it’s not the washer’s fault as I tested it without it. I do the self-cleaning cycle often, clean the filter at the bottom as recommended, and barely use the quick wash as I am not sure if it puts a higher stress on the parts in its attempt to wash in a shorter period of time.
I have also used so many times the small door because I forget socks or items 2 min after I start a load so that’s useful to me. I also keep the door semi-open, extract the detergent container to get rid of the water left in it after every use, and dry the rubber gaskets around the door to avoid any odors or mildew.
I hope it continues to perform as it has so far; it’s an expensive machine but I’m very much in love with it because of its performance. If anything changes, I will update this review to reflect any issues.

This washer started having issues after only 2 years. It stopped draining properly and would leave the everything soaking wet. Luckily I bought the extended warranty with it. It took well over a month to fix during which time I had to go to the laundry mat because the washer was not usable. Best Buy warranty fixed the issue and all was good for another 2 – 2 1/2 years. Then I noticed that the clothes were starting to seem more wet after washing again so I called service in again. They were out a couple of times and replaced some parts. It kept having the same issue and it was getting worse and worse. The washer was constantly giving error codes 5ud and 5c. Meaning there were too many suds and it couldn’t drain. It even gave me the suds code on a load with no detergent. Eventually I was told that it was the motherboard that need to be replaced, except that part was no longer available to get so the washer could not be fixed and I would have to get a new one.
I have since gotten a new washer but I spent $2,500 on a matching washer and dryer set 5 years ago and expected them to last far more than 5 years. I don’t know much about other Samsung appliances but I would suggest staying away from this one!

Water tends to sit in the soap drawer on the top, and when I spin the drum inside manually I can hear water moving at the bottom even though I can’t see it. It often and easily smells like mildew. Makes a loud banging sound during spin cycle. always has since the first two months of having it. Its been a year and I hate this washing machine. also the wifi feature is useless.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a broken Samsung washer that failed within two and a half years of purchase. While I had high hopes for this product, I was sorely disappointed by its reliability and Samsung’s lack of assistance in addressing the issue.
As a consumer, I expect the products I purchase to last for a reasonable amount of time, and a washer that fails within just a few years is unacceptable. We were not even use the machine very often, probably once or twice per week.
With the experience we got and the $,1000 we spent, I would not recommend purchasing a Samsung product. Not worth the trouble and investment.

I liked this washer when I first got it. But the latch broke on the little passthrough and I had to tape it closed in order for the washer to work. Not it won’t get the water out the clothes. I have had the repairman out 3 times, and still won’t work right. Stay far away from this washer.

The washer is barely 3 years old and constantly shows 4C error and doesn’t empty the soap dispenser unless we pour a pitcher of water into it at the begining of the wash cycle. I’ve inspected and ensured all inlet screens are cleaned, I even removed flow limiters/backflow preventers from the hoses and valve body to ensure good cold water flow. I shouldn’t have to purchase and replace a $140 valve body on a 3 year old washer. Never buying Samsung again…

This is a cleaning machine. I love the large capacity. I can spend less time doing laundry and trust that it will be done right the first time. I love the man options like steam, quick wash and being able to monitor it from my smart phone. My units are downstairs, so I don’t hear them when they’re done, so having a notification on my phone is great. My only advice is if you’re going to get this washer it has a slanted drum, you may want to purchase the pedestal. It’s a large drum and you have to reach way back to get your items.
