I have had two … first one did the same thing when new that this one started doing right past the mfrs warranty… it vibrates so much that the laundry soap bottle will walk across the top and end up on the floor! Of course Samsung will send someone out now that it’s out of warranty . But I don’t want to spend the equivalent of a new one to fix this crappy unit! I thought that customers warranty’s were minimum and that a 700$ washer emulsion last more than 9 months … insane -should’ve bought an LG .

I bought this on 10/14/21 and had to have it replaced that day because the drum was defective. The product was on back order for another month or so and then replaced. It worked well for about 11 months. Then it started making a loud noise when it was running. The balancing pulleys in the rear of the machine went out($30*4) then the cement counterweights on the front and side of the machine broke. Which caused the door to separate slightly and crack ($250) and the pump in the rear also started leaking ($120). So after having it for 13 months the repair cost would be almost $500 and that is without the cost of labor. It is out of the 12 month warranty so now I’m on the hook for repairs. Instead I will be buying another washing machine 13months later, not from Samsung.

After a great deal of researching washers in depth prior to having tso back surgeries. I chose this product for very specidic reasons, particularly its capability of thoroughly disinfecting clothing and bed sheets. At the end of antibiotic treatment through a picc line for a hospital acquired infectios disease, it was imperative I take every action necessary to not get any bacteria in my line or in the open wound I would be coming home with after two surgeries to remove anything that may have been left behind and then reconstruction of my spine. One can only imagine the importance of every detail. Not only was did the washer satisy my need to see and feel my freshly laundered fabrics, but the sanitizing options satisfied all of my orher senses, above and beyond what i ever imagined, and I was able to configure all the settings for each different load from bed. It also orders my supplies with anticipation and gives me illustrated step by step instructions for its maintenance. This not only saves me money, but all energy as well.

Bought as a replacement for a Samsung washer that we wore out. It was at a reduced price being a scratch & dent. It did not matter to us because it will be in the basement. So far, no issues with the washer. Runs very quite and cleans clothing very well.

When it worked, it worked well…but I expect that when I buy a brand new NOT CHEAP washing machine, that it’ll last with regular use for longer than 2 years. Out of nowhere it started rattling like it was going to take off into space. When Geek Squad came out to inspect, they found a manufacturing defect. According to everyone I talked with throughout the process, this has commonly occurred with Samsung Washers. The counterbalance snapped off and punched a hole in the drum and diaphragm of the unit and totaled the machine in one fell swoop.

Its our 4yrs if using this washer and now it started to show SC we clean the filter but it is still showing SC our previous washer is a GE topload and it took us 10yrs before we finally changed it. The only good thing for this machine is that it is water efficient but its hard to clean it if there is a clogged on the hose at the back.

Great washer when it worked. Purchased in December 2020 and the computer brain died in August 2023. The Tech temporarily installed a new computer and was able to run it through a couple of wash cycles however the door wouldn’t unlock. Tech removed the computer and the unit is now a boat anchor as repair estimate is more than a new unit! I didn’t buy an extended warranty.

Works well, had it for almost 3 years now, and aside from it shaking the dryer on top of it when they’re both running, we’ve had no problems with it so far, it’s a decent washer.

This washer broke down within 2 years. It became unuseable as the internal bolts became disconnected and it would sound like an airplane was landing on my house during the spin cycle. Thankfully, I had a useable warranty and replaced the washer with a different brand (it was unrepairable). I was told the issue I had was a known issue with this washer so i highly recommend purchasing a different one.
