    The hood itself works as it is suppose to. However, I have had to exchange this hood four times so far because each one comes defective in some sort of way… either dented or scratched, or it comes with completely no hardware to attach it! Then it takes another week to have a replacement sent. So far, a third party installer has been to my house 7 times to install this hood. They have scratched my walls and taken chunks of drywall out in order to install it, when they clearly had no idea how to do it. I would completely return the thing if I wouldn’t have bought the entire samsung black stainless steel line of appliances so they all match.

    The hood looks great and vents well. Love the blue tooth for hands free use while cooking. Timer is a great feature too.

    I’m really loving the touch buttons and the light on this hood. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it’s louder than I thought it would be. But other than that, I love it.

    Very nice canopy hood. I hated that the extension for the top was almost as much as the whole canopy hood. Especially since it is just a sheet of metal. If you have a regular height ceiling, maybe you don’t need extension? My ceiling is 12′

    I like the sleek look to this hood. The lighting is great also. The only knock I have on it is with the noise. It’s not bad on the low setting, but gets very loud as you increase the power. But it gets the job done.

    Don’t come with other parts… you should order by separatly.. its painful.. if you buy new home , don’t go with this product .

    Do not buy it. Best buy will send you an open box instead of a new factory sealed one. I exchanged it for 5 times but still the same. This product is to be discontinued and you will end up paying $1400 for a refurbished product. I
