    The Samsung 36 inch built in Gas cooktop is one of the best items that I have purchased for my kitchen. Aside from it being aesthetically pleasing (the stainless steel matches beautifully with the rest of the appliances in my kitchen), its functionality is amazing. The burners are efficient and quick. Best of all it is very easy to clean. Luckily, there was no need for adjustments my countertop because the cooktop fit right on. Otherwise, best buy has certified cutters that can help. Definitely recommend this product.

    This cooktop is incredible! I forgot how amazing gas stoves were. After using electric for almost 20 years, I forgot how much better gas was. I’ve been using this top for 3 months now and it truly is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. This top gives plenty of space for using several big pots at the same time. It’s very easy to clean with it’s segmented, removable grill and stainless steel. It truly is a wonderful product.

    Great cooktop, fit nicely in the hole left by my old whirlpool. The large burners on this cooktop are closer in heat output to much more expensive GE Cafe line. Stainless steel has been easy to clean. Get yourself the 3m scotchgard stainless steel cleaner.

    Works well and easy to maintain; however, it is not a good choice for cooking larger dishes as there is not enough space between the burners.

    This was possibly the worst experience I have ever had with a purchase from any company. First of all, it was originally purchased November 27th and finally got installed in Feb. 3 Months to get a cook top is insane. The first install attempt in January failed because the cooktop had no burners! What?? it took forever to reschedule and meanwhile I was without a cook top, which was challenging for a family of 4. No follow up phone calls from Best Buy, no apologies, no care for their profound inadequacies in customer service. The cooktop works well and we are happy with the product…but the service and time it took for the install makes me question whether I will shop at Best Buy in the future

    I love cooking with my new Samsung stainless steel stove top. It’s fast and kept my foods hot. Easy to clean and manage. The guy who installed it for me did a great job. I had great help from the Best Buy guys from beginning to the end of my installation. I’m glad I got this stove top. I love cooking with it.

    Geeks service came to my house to take measurements of our cooktop to make sure it fit. We picked the one he suggested. We had many issues trying to receive our product and when we finally do it didn’t fit. The guy couldn’t take the cooktop with him because he said he didn’t deliver it so it sat in my garage forever with no phone call or anyone contacting me about the matter. I called told them I just wanted to cancel the order and come pick it.

    I needed to upgrade because my old cooktop had two dead burners. This new samsung cooktop has very precise and strong burners. Cook time is faster and boiling my water is much faster compared to the old cooktop. Love the sleek modern design. Highly recommend!

    The center grate was broken. Missing 4 of the 5 burner caps. The remaining one was scratched. The new center grate was slightly darker than the adjacent grates suggesting oxidation of the original grates as a result of exposure of the unit being a floor model rather than a new unit.

    Turns out I do not like placement of control knobs — I would prefer them to be grouped in front center so that there is more space between side burners. Otherwise, a good quality stove.

    Pretty and effective Samsung cooktop. GE Telescopic downdraft is to close to burners and can be easily scratched.

    The black grills on top are very heavy and hard to lift for cleaning also the burners are to close together so it’s hard to fit two pans on the left and right burners, have to use smaller pans, not great when you have pans on all the burners and since the grates are higher takes longer to heat up, they should have put all the knobs in the lower right hand corner which would have made it easier to use larger pots or pans

    We replaced a gas cooktop with this new stainless steel cooktop because the glass cooktop we had cracked as my husband was removing the grates and the grate slipped from his grip. We hated to replace since we loved our old cooktop, but we love this new one. It is quiet and lights right away and is sturdier.

    This was a gift for my mom. The cooktop is clean and competitively priced. There isn’t a great selection of stovetops, but I’m glad that this one looks good. Buttons work easily, although installation-wise it’s a little too close to the backsplash. Happy with the fit, the installation team had to cut some granite and wood to install it correctly.

    Absolute crap. Bought this as Consumer Reports said it was the best. The finish is terrible, you can’t clean it properly (get it to shine) even with microfibers and SS cleaner. I wiped something with a paper towel and it scratched it. If it weren’t so expensive and my countertop cut for it, I’d definitely get rid of it. Save your money. Best Buy shouldn’t sell this. Samsung Customer Service was a joke. Said warranty didn’t cover scratches or smeariness.

    I was so excited to get this in the week of Christmas. I had a 30 inch and this was a 36. We looked for one that the cut out specs fit the cut out we already had for the 30in. This specs were it. We drove a over a hour to pick it up and a over a hour back. AND THE SPECS ARE WRONG. Do not follow the spec sizes for the cut out on the Best Buy page. So now we are cutting the granite and having to pull out 2 drawers

    We like the cooktop a lot but 3 burner covers are missing and we’re having a hell of a time getting the missing covers. Three out of five burners can’t be used, so using the cooktop is an issue.

    The Samsung 36 inch Built in Gas Cooktop with 5 Burners is impressive. Your able to pull up the the covers in order to clean the stove with a soft cleaning cloth. The design gives an modern look appearance. We have received several compliments. We love that each burner plays a different role in the type of skillet or pot should be placed on each burner. The stove is easy to clean. Durability our family rates it a 5. Installation we rate at a 3. Although our prior stove was made in the 1960s and we decided to upgrade. We had to replace several old parts, to bring this stove to its full functional use. Functionality we give it a 5. So far the performance of the stove works very well. If this should change will update our rating.
