    Worked well between April and November of this year. Was boiling a pot of water and something inside the glass popped and made a bright flash while also tripping the circuit breaker. Turned the breaker back on and it instantly flipped the circuit again.

    Went to file a warranty claim and Samsung said that my warranty had already expired so now there is a 2-3 business day wait so that it can be verified. Not great.

    e just remodeled our kitchen and knew we wanted to go induction. with an employee perk program discount and the reviews on this cooktop, it was the obvious choice, and it hasn’t let us down. it is so quick to heat up — no need for an electric kettle when the old one boils just as fast! the temperature controls are precise enough to get your pan to the right temperature, and like a gas stove there’s no carry-over heat from the electric heating element to keep you from cooling your pan down when you need to

    I received compensation for this review but the review is my own. This is an entry priced induction stovetop. It definitely cooks quickly and evenly. The largest burner doesn’t seem to be hot all the way across. Overall so far I’m happy with this purchase.

    I bought this after having a portable induction cooker which cost a great deal less. Inexpected this to have equivalent functionality, such as bein able to set the temperature in addition to setting the power. Also the wifi capability is pretty much useless. You can see which burners are on and at what power level, but you cant swtch them off or adjust them from the app. Other than that it does what an induction stovetop should, boils water very quickly.

    I love the cooktop’s appearance. It is easy to keep spotless with stovetop cleaner. The controls are easy to use and to understand. I would have given it 5 stars but the control digital buttons worked best when using my right hand. (I am left-handed)

    I purchased this cooktop in December and it arrived yesterday. This induction cooktop replaced an electric cooktop. The install was easy and only took my husband about 20 minutes. Samsung had a great offer of some free cookware if I left a review. So, “I received compensation for this review but the review is my own”.* One of the first things I tested was boiling water. I wanted to see if it would boil as fast as some of the Youtube videos said it would. It does. This model is very basic compared to some of the induction cooktops out there, but most of the ones with more features were backordered and since not all of the burners on my old cooktop worked, I really needed something fairly quickly. This has more features than a standard electric cooktop so it is definitely an upgrade from my previous cooktop. It is easy to use and looks great. The Best Buy employees that delivered the cooktop were very nice and courteous. I have had other Samsung products (Refrigerator and phones) and have been pleased with them as well. If you have never owned a glass cooktop before, I would recommend you clean your cooktop regularly with the Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner and Polisher. It works great.

    Learning to cook with induction has been interesting, but we love it. This cooktop is really good, but we do have a couple dislikes. The capacitice buttons are super sensitive to liquid and the cooktop notifies you of a constant button push. It also feels like the burners are either too small or aren’t spaced out enough. We do like it and would buy it again.

    I have owned this for nine months and used “ lightly”. It no longer works. Dealing with Samsung for something that’s under warranty is like pulling teeth. I have now been without a cooktop for almost 5 weeks. I have a service ticket – but can’t schedule an appointment with that company. Won’t return calls or emails. I will NEVER buy any thing Samsung again. I have had the Samsung refrigerator and was pleased so I bought the cooktop. Never again. Will I ever get this resolved? Who knows!

    We bought the Samsung 30″ Smart Induction Cooktop w/ Wi-Fi, along with Delivery/Installation, weeks before our Home Remodel was ready to accept it, but Best Buy was accommodating and said to just tell them when.
    We did have to work with our General Contractor to ensure the model we picked could be accommodated by our cabinets.
    The Installers called/arrived as scheduled for a quick easy installation.
    One needs Induction Ready Cookware and although we had two sets already, this gave us the opportunity to upgrade.
    We cooked some of the Thanksgiving meal on it and it was perfect.

    Not hooked up yet but looks great. Existing cutout too big so built an “island” of wood slab on top of countertop and made smaller cutout. Looks cool!

    The installer did a good job. The product is easy to use & looks nice. It is also very nice to get the free Circulon cookware set. I have had the cooktop for less than one month. One of the previous reviews said it broken down within 3 months. I hope that was just an exceptional case & that particular issue is resolved to that customer’s satisfaction.

    Love the induction top! Fast to heat up, quiet when in use. Easy to clean. The touch buttons can be a bit finicky. Wish I could control the cooktop functions on the app, but those are my only two gripes.
