Love the color! Purchased for our new home being built. Color matches all other appliances perfectly.
Chrissy –
This is the latest and greatest in wall ovens and all the reviews were so amazing that we couldn’t be any more than thrilled with it.
Jcoultas7 –
It is user friendly and looks very nice. I would recommend.
Allimike –
So far pleased with this purchase, but there is definitely a learning curve with this oven. I still need to read up so that I can use the flex component of the oven. I know this is going to be great.
Connie –
Can’t wait to use it. Just saw a demo and reviewed all the bells and whistles
Dotsy –
Bought this oven because I was told I could cook at two different temperatures. Directions that came with oven don’t help. Tried the Geek squad and they didn’t know anything. Got transferred to Samsung and they didn’t know anything. Love the oven but would really like someone to explain how to set two temperatures.
Rocky –
I absolutely loved all the features of this oven would definitely recommend it to anyone
ccas –
I purchased this cooktop because of the appearance and the Samsung quality. All my appliances are Samsung and wanted to stay with the same for my new cooktop

Samsung has produced an exceptional product. Lots of features and designed very well. Only issue we’ve had so far is breaking the oven in. It has taken several sessions of heating the oven to get rid of the awful smell produced when it heats up. The manual states to heat at 400 degrees for an hour. That’s not nearly enough. Filled the house with awful smell. Had all the windows open and an exhaust fan running. Seems to be OK now .
BestBuyPurchaser –
It’s gorgeous!! I love that I can user the upper or lower alone, saving electricity and allowing the oven to preheat quickly. Sleak design, the ingenuity is amazing!!
Vee3 –
Great sleek look. Single oven does the job of two with seperate cooking zones.
PalmSpringsBill –
I’m so surprised that others haven’t mentioned the loud relay switch clicking noise. Many others have on other sites. Throughout the pre-heating and cooking time, there is this constant clicking noise. Guests ask me what that clicking noise is. Cooking temperature is about 30 degrees off as well. I’m trading it for a LG model.
Prav –
Great oven, very sleek looking, great tech and cooks/bakes perfectly.
KenM –
This Thanksgiving was awesome, having the ability to split this oven into two completely independent ovens made getting the sides & desert ready at the right time “easy as pie” lol. All kidding aside, it cut several hours off of cooking because I could cook different things at different temperatures all at the same time & with multiple independent timers for each item.
someone –
I purchase this unit and after just over a year it started glitching.
Every time we’re using it, after turning it off, the display freezes and the panel stop responding. The only way to make it work again it to restart it from the switch-box.
I called Samsung which were quick to claim it’s out of warranty.
I had the authorize provider comes in for three times and still they the oven doesn’t work.
I moved to a new house just over a year ago and bought all new appliances from Samsung. Each and every one of them broke (and was fixed under warranty). With that track records I would urge you to stay way from Samsung appliances!
Fiestagirl –
Not a fan of this wall oven. There is just too much going on with it. Samsung is trying to stuff a five pound ham into a two pound bag! The flex zones are small & you can only bake in the bottom zone & convect bake in the top. There are too many racks & they must be in a certain position. So many options that I will never ever use. Thought it was a good idea to have a single oven with dual cooking zones . . . . Not!! Very expensive as well. Should have stuck with a regular wall oven & saved the money.
CaptG –
We love our new wall oven, the two zone option is a game changer. There are multiple options for the heads up display that actually helps with your decor look, or you can make it all black until use. This oven along with the cooktop has modernized our kitchen.
MelissaG –
Looks sleek, Cooks evenly throughout and some foods I have had difficulty cooking in my old oven, turns out great in this one. It is a split convection oven so at the holidays or at other meals I can split the oven and cook different dishes at different degrees. Love the controls, preheating and the timer. The black stainless is an awesome color. Not just a drab looking black color.
Greg –
It has bells and whistles and I love them all! The WiFi connection is disappointing in that it has little control or function other than notifications of temperature being reached or food is done.
Airpods –
What a great oven! Put the tray in and have two ovens at two different temps.. love it.
Jamie –
Looks great and works even better! very easy to use and the flex zone is nice
JAYTEES –
Bought this Samsung BSS Oven to go with our new kitchen remodel. The problem we have been having with is:
1 – Samsung appliances do not work well with Apple products. Geek Squad had to set up on their Samsung device, so that we could manage on our Appled devices.
2 – Oven reboots frequently, so you have to wait about 5 minutes for the full hard reboot to cycle through.
3 – Mis conception for the dual oven function. It allows you to use dual temps, but only in Convection mode. This was one of the reasons why we purchased it, but that MAJOR detail was left out.
Aside from those frustrations, the oven works well. The Black Stainless Steel is so beautiful and we love the blue glow light on the knobs when the burner is on – good safety feature.
Theguy –
This is an amazing oven! The double oven feature is awesome!
CatMom –
Lots of great features…very sturdy and easy to use.
Charlie –
Good quality, user friendly, easy installation, good installation information
CBaty –
Like other reviewers, I never should figure out the dual oven “thing.” But what is worse is that two years after buying it, the oven simply won’t hold the correct temperature. I discovered this when a cake I made came out raw and had to be re-baked. I got an oven thermometer and discovered this problem. When the oven says has reached the set temp, it is at least 25 degrees less. Once it reaches the set temp, it won’t hold it and fluctuates 25-50 degrees up and down. This was a replacement of a 28-year-old oven.
Charlie –
Feature packed. Replaced an older Bosch. Like the split temperature feature, two dials – 1 for function, one for temperature adjustment. Multiple timers. I would recommend it hesitantly since I’ve had it less than a month
Terrible –
Terrible! We bought it and less than 3 months later it stopped working. Gave us a sensor error and won’t even turn off. Have to flip the breaker to get it to control a temperature. Won’t go to a set temp and will just get hotter and hotter until you flip the breaker. Manufacturer doesn’t want to help and got the geek squad protection and they won’t help. Worst purchase ever.

FAN MOTOR WENT OUT FIRST WEEK. HAD TO CALL SAMSUNG TO FIX.. TOOK THEM A WEEK TO COME OUT!
JmtFrisco –
We have waiting about 3 years to amke this purchase and could not be happier with our new wall oven. It looks great and the cook features are great as well. My wife is VERY HAPPY!
Poodle –
This oven is the reason why we purchased all new Samsung appliances. Only found two single-size wall ovens on the market that are divided into two smaller ovens. The GE profile one is permanently divided, this one has the option to choose between of one large or two smaller oven spaces. Preheats extremely fast, so far we are mostly using the upper flex compartment, saves a lot of energy. Beautiful appliance.
JCHCO –
We searched and searched for what appliances would work with our sultry black kitchen. Other brands didn’t offer a side by side refrigerator / freezer without moving up price points exponentially.
We bought the whole slew; refrigerator, 36” Gas Cooktop, 30” Wall Oven this review is for, dishwasher, and the range hood that connects to the cooktop via BT.
I have to say it was a hard choice and I never thought my six figure kitchen gut would have Samsung appliances (more like their new owner, Dacor).
Samsung provided the value of the chef collection at a slightly lower price and with more features present than missing in comparison. My knobs are blue all around. The colors all match. So regarding finish and quality I’d say I’d give it a 5/5.
Installation into a new kitchen cabinet custom built for this unit as when we wired the house the original planned for the kitchen to remain on the other side of the house. Just a small change, right? Where we would have the cooktop mounted above the oven and the oven below; a more permanent, professional look, than a freestanding range IMHO.
We ran 30AMP 10AWG wiring as we had already purchased the single oven…thus, we could not purchase either the double oven. The single oven with built in convection microwave. And were left with this model, and Samsung’s MASSIVE LACKING of microwaves that are 1) high quality, 2) meant for built in installations, 3) have convection and capacity ( we gave up the former and after a custom cabinet front was made it’s good enough—I’m a perfectionist). We would have bought an entire new unit if that’s what was needed to get the double oven/ convection micro if that’s what it took at the time. However, the flex duo, hidden heating elements, and ability to truly have two ovens in one (and it actually works for baking). I’ve now found no need for four ovens if you consider the double oven is four flex duo is ovens.
In writing this review after about 6 months of use. Including a massive thanksgiving turkey, meal, daily and frequent use from baking minced pies and fresh pizza dough to roasting and broiling. All oven functions and the convection function (especially with each “oven” having a fan—so two fans with the ability to operate independently)…really does a great job and I have zero complaints about the quality of the oven, the high quality/heavy racks—including the center rack for sliding things out, and all of the other features you’d expect of an electric convection oven…that’s found in a custom home.
Features present but yet to be tried include the two “Healthy” and “Gourmet” cooking options. I just haven’t found a need but it’s amazing how beautiful the screen is. When it’s on.
In order to preheat the oven from your phone or Bixby/SmartThings app the dial has to be manually set to “Smart”. Annoying when you want to preheat the oven from the couch because you have a smart oven but the dial isn’t manually adjusted to that position.
The clock is a nice touch and it’s nice to have appliances that you never have to sync or have the times differ as they update OTA. But it’s only present for random intervals and goes black.
I had to include a picture of the custom, albeit, simple microwave and oven trim kit we had made. When the oven installed and the microwave. Nothing works together. I cringe a bit that I had to settle for the aesthetics of this microwave but it was relatively cheap. It’s massive. And with such a lovely kitchen. The microwave should be hidden not highlighted.
One day we will replace with a built in coffee/espresso maker or some other kitchen gadget….but I wanted others to see despite the HORRIBLE trim kit that doesn’t fit a custom/ standard dimension, oven cabinet, that Samsung makes a reasonable duo of appliances which can be trimmed out to reasonable and maybe even more of a custom look. Neither are as shiny as the picture makes it seem. The appliances have a black / matte / almost anodized appearance. And don’t show fingerprints or dirt really.
Long gone are the days of leaving the door open to cool it off or warm you up. Advanced fans blow silently until the oven is returned to “off” and cooled down.
Pros:
-Gourmet electric oven with true “flex duo” (single but double oven capabilities) for baking totally different things at large gap temps.
-Price, Color, Matching Appliances, read comments on microwave
-More features “Healthy” and “Gourmet” recipe screen with step by step instructions. The ability to send recipes to the appliance. Able to use SmartThings app.
-Has all the features you could want. Probably the best wall oven you can buy right now. My last con is about cache but the pro is that it lives up and performs as good or better than some of the brands listed below.
Cons-
-Occasionally, randomly reboots. Although it rarely happens. Fear not. If it does during cooking it retains the features and settings. I wonder if it’s something about protecting the LCD from high temps.
-In order to use the “smart features”…preheat whilst away. One must remember to adjust the manual knob to “smart cooking”.
-Steam cleam is great but it’s not the same and not a replacement for traditional oven cleaning (smelly/hot).
-No matching, separate, convection microwave. Thus, if you have 30AMP / 10 AWG. This is the farthest you can go in the lineup without upgrading wiring.
-Samsung doesn’t resonate to me (or people checking out my appliance quality) as Thermador, Bosch (before it became mainstream and budget offerings), Miele, Asko, Dacor, Wolff, Viking

I have purchased this over as a part of kitchen remodeling. I looked for an oven that will be highly functional as well as good looking. This oven has the “Duo” feature which enables splitting the chamber into two separate parts each has it’s own temp control – this enables simultaneous operation as if you have double oven – great feature,
Brend –
Easy to use, I’m not an expert using it yet but so far Everything has been going ok.
Child lock is a plus, but on/off button would have make it better.
Andy –
I purchased the complete appliances set for the kitchen. Looks nice, although I have not cook much with it. It is an oven, not much else to talk about.
DMHazen –
My first time to replace all of my kitchen appliances and upgrade them. This Samgung oven exceeded our expectations!
Love being able to cook at 2 different temperatures at the same time that it heats up extremely fast, cooks everything evenly,
It looks like a sleek expensive oven. Would buy again.
Bosethebest –
Best Samsung purchase. This oven is sleek and roomy a great addition to our home.
Nest –
Preheats quick wifi doesn’t let more then one phone to connect.
mom3kps –
Now that I finally have it and its installed I am very pleased! The process of getting it was definitely not easy but the over is beautiful and works like a charm!
briii –
The best feature is the split oven you can use the oven for two different things and two different temperatures at the same time
JonP –
Excellent looks sleek and perfect for the island we have
Izajae –
Great upgrade and top of the line, bakes and broils evenly.
GillesB –
excellent notihng more to add.
we have rediscovered cooking
BrandonL –
Has been a great oven so far. Definitely recommend for the price point and quality.
JasonH –
I love this oven, I really like that I can cook 2 separate dishes at once.
Madaboutnoremote –
This oven is awesome. Functions great other than the screen will randomly shut off. Then i have to wait for it to reboot.
CraigV –
I have been looking for a compact sized double oven for a while. I didn’t want to have to start cutting my cabinets to fit a full size and didn’t like the style of only compact one I found (GE) that wouldn’t match my black stainless steel appliances.
Then I saw this.
It is the best of both worlds.
I normally cook one thing at a time and this works great. Convection is amazing as is the normal bake mode.
But the real treat is when you want to cook 2 things at the same time. Slide in the divider and wallah it is a double oven able to cook at 2 temps (within a reasonable range).
HeribertoA –
My wife love it. Mrs. Rhonda make a great suggestion besides her knowledge on appliances
DonH –
We love our new oven. For the price and quality it was well worth the purchase. I love the smart things feature of being able to work the stove remotely.
JayaJ –
Worth every penny and I love the bread proof option.
