I had to return this range hood because the recirculating vent is no longer available. Its probably an excellent product but if your only vent option is recirculating choose another one.

We purchased This Hood that was very expensive.. almost 4 times the price of other hoods in its category, because we were told by a Samsung representative at Best Buy .. it would automatically turn the lights and fan on when we turn on the gas on the range.. the range was brand new with Wi-Fi however double-check to see if the range is Bluetooth capable.. if not it will not pair with the hood.. other than that.. The hood is very quiet and very powerful best I ever seen. I was a new home warranty manager for years..so I saw a lot, The LED lights are bright.. you can just throw the grease collector vents in the dishwasher for cleaning.. And the black stainless still looks great.. you will pay extra but it’s worth the powerful fan and the quietness when it’s runing

Great addition to the samsung duo stove. It has three speeds plus a boost option for a more powerful exhaust. Its loud and you will know the fans running. It has metal washable exhaust filters. Bluetooth connectivity to stove via Samsung’s smart-things app. Pricey but gets that smoke and smell out.

Fan is Too noisy, light is either on or off, no dimmer or hi lo light. I would not recommend this fan. Definitely not worth the price.

my range hood is beautiful but is still in its box…their installer could not install it because the wiring would not reach to connect it to the original wires…he just said it can’t be used…obviously, I will have to pay another contractor to install it..likely will not get my installation charge refunded…very frustrating…and to top it all off…it was delivered two days late.

This oven vent is $800 overpriced. For over $900, the only thing this vent does is provide a light and a fan. There’s no Bluetooth connection with the oven that I purchased or any Samsung oven I can afford.
Samsung needs to provide an oven vent that is affordable and matches the ovens available.

Very nice looks good, but I think it’s too loud. Not sure if it’s how mine was installed, but I am not able to put it on high without it sounding like it’s going to break. I was expecting it to be much quieter due the price. I do like how easy it is to clean. The fan is powerful just loud.

I wasn’t too sure when my wife wanted to get this range hood, but I must admit that it is very good-looking and really makes a difference by venting the air while cooking. We also purchased a new Samsung range, and it looks great with it. We did not opt for a bluetooth-enabled range, so I cannot comment on that ability. Overall I highly recommend it due to the powerful venting.

This range hood throws mad air, if yours doesn’t it’s installed wrong. Did it myself and I saw a few things that would cause someone who doesn’t know to neglect making the necessary adjustments to accommodate this. Additionally if you read the booklet it shows the steps to activate boost so read it. My only complaint is Samsung should test these before shipping because the light was wired wrong and didn’t work so I was easily able to figure it out. Saved me a service call. People say it’s noisy but if you’re gonna move that much air it comes with some noise but it isn’t deafening like my previous one. The rear vent didn’t line up with the existing hole through the back so it was easier for me to vent it from the top through the cabinet. It’s very very pricey but we’ll worth it, wish I had bought it the first time I saw it because I would’ve saved about $300. Yes $300.

Worked 6 months then blower engine went out. Good thing i had a house appliance warranty. Find another brand if your looking to match up with other Samsung appliances.

Waited to write a review so I had some use on it. Best range hood I’ve had. LOVE the LED lighting. Now I can actually see what I’m cooking! And it has powerful fan/suction. Cleans easily too.

Good product! It works as expected. But you have to purchase hardwire 120V- 15Amp before the date of installation if you don’t want to reschedule installation appointment or you have to install it by yourself like me.

Extremely disappointed. This does not work with Smarthings unless it is connected to a range through bluetooth, it doesn’t have wifi!!!!! As far as I can tell only Samsung cooktops have bluetooth and none of their ranges have it so this is a completely useless feature for ranges. Don’t buy if you are range shopping and I just bought a brand new Samsung range and it doesn’t work with it. I’m angry and feel duped, want to return it. I have all Samsung products in my home and this is the first time I feel disappointed in how this product is advertised.
