  1. Rayofknowledge

Does everything like gas stove and very high speed. Great looks and ease of cleaning l

  2. Stovetop

Heat settings were very eractic. When you did achieve the setting and think things were ok you could walk away thinking it was ok and when you would go back the cooktop had turned itself off. Samsaug sent someone three time to change parts but the problem was still present. So we decided to switch to a gas cooktop and it woks great. Best Buy made the situation much better. And the cooktop is beautiful. Thanks Best Buy for you great customer service.

  3. Housewife

Great for boiling large pots of water for pasta, crabs and lobsters. Pans hot almost instantly so cooking takes less time. Fried eggs are ready by time the toast is. Low heat easier than electric to keep things warm.

  4. Macs

Finally took the dive and purchased a Samsung Induction Cooktop. A little pricey, but this cooktop can be monitored via wifi using the Smart Things App. Beautifully crafted and you can’t burn yourself or even a sheet of paper. Only thing is you will need to update your cook to iron or steel. I was in the process of doing it anyway and got a new cookware set to go along with the new cooktop.

  5. LakewoodHomeowner

I’ve owned my Samsung induction cooktop for 9 months. It heats up much faster than conventional electric cooktops, which I love.

The burners hum, louder at high temperatures, despite the salesman’s claims.

The magnetic control is a great concept, but it doesn’t respond accurately to turn the temperature of a burner up or down. My finger (digital control) sliding along the temperature gauge is just as inaccurate.

Now, I’m noticing that the front burner on the flex zone does not work at higher temperatures. It clicks multiple times, then shuts off.

  6. oma815

All functions are operational with the one exception which is the WiFi function is not compatible with our system. Not critical to our needs but was advertised as available.

  7. MrsDivatobe

Boils water fat, don’t bother walking far from pot. Link it to Smart Things app. Linking was confusing because written in the manual reads link to Smart Home. Got Samsung tech to come on site to pair. What sold me on this brand was that it pairs with the hood. The hood comes on automatically when the cooktop is in use. Got on sale. This is our first time with induction. I would recommend. Cool to see on the phone the status of my kitchen appliances. Our kitchen contractors installed.

  8. Mimi

Love the quickness, safety and control you get when using induction heating. If you have big family you may want to get larger model.

  9. Gale

I’ve been using this range for 3-4 months , first of all the temperature is not distributed evenly on the cooking surface . Glass surface got one foggy stain and multiple scratches even though I’ve been using pots and pans strictly recommended for induction cook top .

  10. MG79

This is my first induction stove and I will never go back now. We couldn’t have a gas stove like I wanted so we went with induction and I’m so glad we did. It’s easy to clean because nothing burns on the surface, temperature is easy to control, surface cools immediately so it’s never hot after you’re finished. Overall, it’s a great stove!

  11. Craigdh57

While the finish. Every burner has a Power boost boost.
I guess the little magnetic dial that they give you Can be used on your refrigerator to hold up pictures.
I already knew that was junk

  12. Todd

Works great, looks great, fits great, modern, wife loves it

  13. Chris

Cooks food in no time! Looks nice on my counter. Only con is the magnetic knob, it doesn’t want to work right. You can just use you finger instead which I like better anyways.

  14. Jude

Great induction cooktop. Sleek. Works great. Like the smart functions. Highly recommend if you are looking for an induction cooktop.

  15. JazzerD4

Love this cooktop! Looks great, love the blue lights. Heats up fast and cooks evenly. Recommended to people that like electric stove tops.

  16. slopez1022

This induction cooktop is excellent. I would highly recommend. We purchased our first induction over 8 years ago but suffered a power surge that put it out of commission permanently. They have come a long way with induction since then. This one is much more powerful and the burner layout, specifically the flex zone is extremely useful.

  17. Induction

We Love this cooktop . It is super easy to use , and cleans up amazing way better than the gas style with the grates . It heats super fast and It looks great In my new Kitchen .
The only negative was the installer threw away the knob then lied to me and blamed the granite people .
They are supposed to be ordering and paying for a replacement .
    Months ago we’ll see –

  18. MammaLeslie

Love this induction cooktop. It takes a little getting use to but once you master it you’ll love it.

  19. SamsungOven

The install was easy. But setting up the Smart Thing feature was a little harder than it should have been. And it uses 2.4ghz instead of 5ghz. The cooking time and heat settings will take a little time to get correct. The rapid boil takes less than 3 minutes.

  20. Shar

Have been using the Samsung 30″ Induction Cooktop for 2 months and love the technology. The cooktop itself gleams beautifully when polished. Heating elements are spontaneous. I especially like the multiple units on the left side that can utilize oblong shapes. The virtual flame that shines onto my new stainless steel cookware is an added aesthetic experience.

  21. Happy

It is very responsive. We like the optional knob which can be moved away when not in use which leaves the hob clear. The hob surface looks substantial and layout flexible. The virtual flame lets you know the heat is on under your pot.

  22. DanaB

Looks sleek. Induction does what is should but layout of burners is awkward, knob is basically useless, and I find the simmer feature is not effective at all. In addition adjusting the heat level is very touchy. I’m actually disappointed and wish I had chosen a different induction cooktop.

  23. Scanner

Very nice product. have not installed it yet as we are waiting for our kitchen to be completed.

  24. litprof

I switched out a Whirlpool gas cooktop that came with my new house for this Samsung induction model. This required having an electrician install a larger circuit-breaker, but I already had him coming to the house to install special outlets for my Sonos 5s, so adding a circuit-breaker was not a huge expense.

If you’ve never cooked on induction before, it does require some adjustment. This Samsung is extraordinarily responsive, even more so than gas. Also, it’s powerful: every burner has a “PowerBoost” setting. You can get a large stockpot of water for pasta from room temperature to a raging boil in just a few minutes. And the boil really is raging; I’ve never seen anything like it on a gas cooktop. Until you get used to it, you will probably burn a few things, but you’ll adjust quickly enough.

The Flex-Zone burner on the left is great if you like to use a rectangular griddle.

One minor flaw: the cooktop comes with a single knob that you can use to control any of the burners. You just pick it up and plop it down on any of the controls. It doesn’t work well. You turn the knob clockwise and the heat level has about equal odds of going up, down, or staying the same. Just using your finger works much better, so why bother with it?

The metal border protects the edges of the glass from getting chipped. The cooktop cleans up easily because it doesn’t get hot; only your pans do. Most of the time, I just use a sponge and soapy water, but once a week or so I use Weiman cooktop cleaner, which has it looking like new.

Overall, we’re happy with it. And it looks beautiful, too, which is a plus.

  25. Scully

I love this cooktop!!!! It is easy to clean, easy to use, easy everything. I love the way it cooks. I love that I can cook fast when needed.
    Love love love

  26. Techyguy

Works as advertised, fits, looks sharp, easy install easy to use, we are happy we purchased this unit.

  27. KJRN

Can’t recommend this cooktop. Out of the box worked two days then would not turn on. Took 3 weeks for warranty repair. Once repair completed cooktop worked for two days and then again would not turn on. When it did work the knob was sketchy and doesn’t control temp well. Using finger is awkward and inconsistent. Have waited another 3 weeks for warranty repair service call. Repairman did not show up. Just a poor experience all around. Buy something else.

  28. Stovetop

Knob doesn’t work very well. Finger works better. ….

  29. rohan

works as expected. heats the pan very fast and cleanup is easy

  30. Guillermo

This cooktop has been a nightmare. Purchased new October 2021. Installed in December (when Kitchen remodel was finished). It never worked. Calls to Samsung to honor the warranty were a nightmare of computer menus and repeating the same story to multiple people. First service came on Feb 3. Samsung had sent only two pieces instead of four. Repair unsuccesful. Second service (different person) on Feb 10. Samsung had sent two more pieces (instead of 3, because apparently five needed to be replaced) and one was for a refrigerator !!! Replaced the one, cooktop still did not work. Repairman said cooktop was not fixable and was going to put it in his notes. Samsung still wanted a third tech visit. Then started the nightmare of calls between Samsung and the Tech company. On Feb 15 Samsung finally agreed to refund or replace, but I was told it would have to be done through BestBuy where I bought it. On Feb 16, received an email confirming the “in store exchange”. One full week later and I still do not have a functioning cooktop. Just hanged up with Samsung who is telling me I have to contact BestBuy…. Infuriating does not begin to describe this experience.

  31. Nana

Best Buy I have made for cooktops. Exceeds expectations

  32. NewUser

I am still getting use to this cooktop but so far very pleased. It is pretty high tech so it is going to take some practice. Very pretty in design

  33. Chef123

Im not feeling confident about my decision to buy Samsung appliances after the brand new double wall oven did not heat up after Bestbuy finished the install. Waited a month to get a replacement. Fingers crossed this cooktop will not be another Samsung lemon. Samsung is supposed to br all about the technology but these brand new appliances have none of the features the other brands have.

  34. Doener

I have received two of these cooktops so far and both were warped (not laying flat). It may be the metal frame being transported in freezing temperatures or inadequate packaging from the factory, or quality control. Also, if anything spills on the touchpad integrated right into the cooktop it random adjusted things or shuts the top down. On one occasion it kept turning a burner on rather than off. It’s a lower cost induction top, but Samsungs top model and should be better than this. 2 stars as maybe I just had bad luck, but my experience is 1 star.

  35. RubenR

Best decision I made. Wifey was extremely happy with the switch from our old whirlpool radiant cooktop where one burner parts is no longer available so our home warranty insurance ask if we want a replacement of same kind or do an upgrade. We selected an Induction cooktop upgrade for extra cost. I am super satisfied with purchase. Best Buy delivered it a few days. Installation is easy. I am glad I switch to Induction, it is trending now.

  36. TomG

This is the second of these cooktops we’ve bought. Bought one, moved house then did a bunch of research and decided to buy the same one again. It’s great. Buy it.
Also … induction cooking is far better than gas, plus a gas cooktop is as bad as having a smoker in the house in terms of benzine and NOx pollution

  37. MelissaR

Cook fast, very modern. Beautiful ! Excellent choice for my remodeled kitchen.

  38. BarbaraK

I had to replace a twelve-year-old GE Profile induction cooked top. This cooktop was on sale and did have good reviews, both online and with Consumer Reports.
Setting the correct burner heat level can be a little tricky; the dial that comes with it doesn’t really work very consistently, but you can use your fingers also. The buttons need a longer finger press than I was used to with the GE. Having said that, I REALLY like the Flex zone on the left side. I have a couple oblong pots that would “hang off the edges” of a round burner, and I have a rectangular griddle that is just made for this. This cooktop also has a timer, although the beep is a little puny.
You can also connect the cooktop to a Samsung smart things app, but only to monitor the burner levels and see the timer. You cannot make any changes to the burners but you can set/change the timer.
It has a child lock feature, and a Pause button that sets all burners to low until it is pressed again. I’ve not used these.
I really wanted the all black top but it was $600 more. This one has a stainless edge. Meh.
As far as its induction capabilities, everything works very well! I will never buy another kind of cooktop. Yes, you can’t use aluminum cookware, but I’ve collected a lot of great pots and pans over the years. Cast iron skillets are great, hold heat very well, and relatively inexpensive. Discount stores like TJ Maxx have some great items too.
    OK, I’m done. 🙂

  39. RasOtieno

Beautiful cooktop. It’s a joy to use. You can tell it was designed with safety in mind and for ease of use. Some minor complaints: the touch dials are a bit difficult to move to the desired setting; the magnetic knob doesn’t work all that well, although it’s a great idea. If you want to upgrade to induction cooking, this is the one to get.

  40. ThomasM

If the temperature control dials worked this would be a 6 star rating. Sadly this could probably be fixed with a software update and not even require reengineering.
Samsung as usual makes something great and drops the ball on the pull through

  41. Jenelle

I love its steady temperature–I had a big pot of lentil soup that I cooked on low overnight and there was no scorching!

The glass surface is easy to clean and doesn’t burn on food like my previous glass cooktop seemed to do. It is easily scratched, though. I’ve cooked on it only a few times (installed late August) and it has scratches ( see picture).

There’s a ‘burn in’ time where it gives off a weird smell, like a moldy sponge and melting electrical wire. I was assured this is normal for new cooktops. The circlular dials for setting temps are difficult to master, and are affected by any touch, such as wiping a spill. The super boil is amazing–rolling boil in less than 2 minutes! The big zone cooking area works great, but my smallest saucepan (2 cup, 5 inch diameter) is not acknowledged by the sensors, so it is unusable.

  42. KarlaA

Very good product! I recommend it. Best Buy delivery was perfect.

  43. ByronP

Works perfectly looks beautiful in new kitchen, highly recommend

  44. JohnM

Bought it, got it installed 2 days ago. Used it this morning for the first time and when I cleaned it as I would with our previous induction cooktop, it errored because it got wet, and now it won’t stop beeping and telling me to use the power button that doesn’t work. Only way to reset it is to turn the breaker off and on again. Exchanged.

  45. AlexeisG

We are so happy It has tremendous security, because if you don’t put the induction utensils on it, it doesn’t heat up, it’s super fast like magic.

  46. TOTALHOMERENOVATION

Love the virtual flame look. Extremely fast heating (absolutely no need to preheat and a lower heat setting is needed to
Maintain temp of good); Therefore a Speedy cook time. Induction Cooktop has precise heat control (it did take awhile to figure out because it IS so precise). Only the pan/pot gets warm, not the other areas of cooktop. Always loved to cook with Gas, but this is far superior. Kitchen seems cooler. Purchasing cookware to work properly was challenging. Gives kitchen a smooth look.

  47. Unknown

    Very accurate to the description.
    Accurate delivery.
    Very good costumer service.
Like them because they COWBOYS fans.

  48. KristinW

Easy install and works great so far. We were a little worried because the box had some damage, but all was well.

  49. Jimmy2

Buttons are too sensitive. Anything can turn it on or off. Towel, plate or another container. Safety feature could be risky for young children in the kitchen. Previous GE was safer.

  50. Stacy

15 year old Kenmore was better . Looks cool but the top had weird stains after one week of use that do not come off. The ‘glass’ cooktop has a weird greasy film that makes it never look it feel truly clean. I do not recommend this and Id replace it if it wasn’t in s custom hole in my new porcelain countertop. We are quite disappointed in it.
