    The burner controls are extremely sensitive and have turned on or up with no apparent movement. It’s only a matter of time before someone gets a nasty burn. Otherwise, it’s a nice looking unit.

    I have only been using this for about 2 weeks and it has scratched. I had to contact Samsung as bestbuys warranty was only for 15 days. They considered this “physical damage” and wont be covered which is ridiculous because it happened while using the cooktop to cook which is the purpose of the product. After spending over $1000 on this product the last thing you want is a ruined cooktop only after 2 weeks. I purchased all new pots and pans before using this and it still damaged it. I know many people with different brands of cooktops that have not had this issue with theirs after years of usage. I am very upset that after not even a month of usage my cooktop is messed up from cooking and Samsung will not respond for this. In the future, I will be sure to go with a different brand. Don’t waste your money on this product.

    Samsung makes excellent products and this cooktop is no exception. It has five burns a two which allow you to select the pan size which offers great flexibility.

    Pulled out the old dropped in the new and all is good. Careful when you clean it since it should be cleaned once it is cold.

    Not sure why the top was discoloring on one of the furnaces soon after we purchased it Also
    knobs tend to break I’ve had this cooktop two years I’ve had to replace two knobs already Samsung would not help replacing them out of their one year warranty

    easy to install and works great. the large burner heats fast and is great for boiling water for pasta. I like the lighted nobs, easy to see if it is on. wireless works, but seems pointless. you can’t use it to turn a burner on or off.

    This cook top replaced an old coil style element cook top. What a difference , It has indicators next to the knobs that lets you know if there is a hot surface that can’t be seen. The elements have a large & small concentric cooking surface area built into a few elements plus 2 inline elements to fit a griddle.
    It seems to have more accurate heat control plus it’s more efficient.

    Looks great, and workss great . 5 burners to make cooking easy. All dials easy to read and multiple size burners on 2 of the choices. Only drawback is the top has to be spotless to look great and since its black you can see when you miss a spot

    To be honest, I purchased this last year so this is the 1 week after 1 year review…

    Functionality, overall very good, the rear mid burner is STRONG. great for quick boil and large pans. The wireless is of zero use, does not control anything on the stove at all.

    Big gripe… the knobs. A pain to clean around, too close together, should be something magnetic or easily removable AND most important, be made of metal, not just look as if they are. DO NOT PLACE A WARM POT ON TOP OF THESE KNOBS to get away from heat or make space. they MELT and they cost close to $100. each from Samsung. that’s $500 for a set of 5 on a $1000. stove. Mine was out of warranty by 3 days and they would not even discuss it.

    So really, the biggest grip is Samsung themselves, they are not the easiest company to deal with though their products are overall quite good. Their support is severely lacking and their opportunistic extortion is unforgivable.

    Might not seem like an issue… stove knobs. Who knew! I’m sick about it and deciding whether to buy anything Samsung ever again. (which is a fair bit)

    Just exactly what I needed. The size is just right and it heats very quickly. It is very responsive to temperature control. It has a sleek modern look, is well made and was worth the wait. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for.

    Bought the samsung cooktop for our new home. So far I have really enjoyed it. It heats up very quickly. Fairly easy to keep clean. I do worry about scratching the surface so I am extra careful when cooking. Otherwise this is a great product.

    Love the sleek design but hard to keep finger print free.
    Had to cut part of my underneath drawer and the bottom was a little deeper on the right side then my last stove top

    The stove appears to be good, but the WIFI option is laughable at best… It basically tells you if the burner is on or of… Um thanks I guess. It does not allow you to do anything like turn the burner on or off or adjust the temp… Very Silly.

    The install was great however we noticed an issue after the fact and dealing with BB tech support/GeekSquad is a beating at best.

    Purchased this back in July, can not do something as simple as boil a pot of water. We have reached out to Samsung for help over a dozen times to try to trouble shoot the issue.

    Had a service tech come out, says the elements are heating properly and told us it was our pans. We bought two different sets of pans trying to resolve the issue, with no luck. Tried both aluminum core pots and solid aluminum pots per the recommendation in the users manual still with no luck.

    Reached back out to both Best Buy and Samsung to try and get a refund, Best Buy says we need a RE number from Samsung in order to get a refund. Samsung refuses to issue us the RE number saying it is a service based warranty and they need to have another service call. Service call was set up, we where told after 1:00 pm that they would be out between 6:00-7:00 that night. We asked to reschedule for the next day and a service call was cancelled.

    Extremely unhappy with both Best Buys return policy and Samsung’s customer service.

    I bought it a month ago. So far I’m pleased with the performance. I had previously owned GE profile appliances and had problems with the dials & printed marks wipes off in spite of lite cleaning within a year. I hope this one will stay with the marks a little longer

    Heats up quick and cooks very evenly. Definitely a step up from what was installed when we moved in. Wifey said that it’s a little tough to clean around the knobs, but they are removable. Don’t bother trying to connect to the WiFi feature…not worth the trouble IMO.

    Quality of cooktop is fantastic. Heats pans up quickly, maintains consistent heat throughout. A much needed upgrade from previous cooktop.
    4 stars due to one little nit – I wish the two lower cook stations were spaced down lower on the unit. On the left, I can fit two pots, but cannot fit two medium sized frying pans. Not an enormous problem and doesn’t impact me 98% of the time.

    I really like the cooktop and having 5 burners. The BIG problem is cleaning the cooktop. Even though I clean it as soon as I am done cooking, I am having issues in cleaning up completely. I have owned glass cooktops for 30 years and am very disappointed in this glass cooktop.

    The stove is great so far,
    The installation is the problem, it seems it does not fit properly in my 30 inch space, because it is 29.5 inches.
