Nice range hood but a bit expensive for what you get. I was missing parts but the Best Buy tech support was fantastic and had the part delivered to my house in less than 24 hours. Samsung should include the dimensions of the mounting screws (in addition to the template) for planning purposes as it prevented me from tiling until I had the template.

I don’t use the hood much but the finger prints are hard to get off just from installing it. Wish it was finger print resistant.

On the pricier side that’s others but no regrets. Got it in appliance bundle, therefore way less than suggested price. Does the job at low setting. Any higher than that, it’s a bit noisy. Gave it four stars because it does get oily in the vents and need to clean. Quick clean with the right antigreaser.

I definitely did not expect that a glorified fan would fail before its third birthday, but here we are. This range hood is broken (we are told it’s an issue with the bearings). A replacement motor is more than $300.
We bought this as part of a bundle of Samsung appliances, and I was really hoping the bad reviews were overblown and that we would get lucky, but we very much did not; we also just had to replace the Samsung dishwasher we got at the same time. Don’t be an optimist! Go with another brand of kitchen appliances!

Purchased this unit in December. Unit was professionally installed same day of delivery. Unit worked for a day and then to my luck suddenly stopped working.
I had to contact Geek Squad and was then asked to contact Samsung to resolve my current issues. Samsung agreed to replace my unit (took about 3/4 weeks for this approval).
I ultimately lost money on this unit as Samsung agreed to pay for my installation (keep in mind I had to pay for Instal TWO times) and then later took that back by saying I was misinformed by the rep; supervisor was supposed to further support and ‘take care’ of me one way or another. The supervisors way of taking care of me for paying installation 2 times on something that was Samsungs fault was to ignore me and not proceed with her end of the deal.
Ultimately, I did get my unit replaced. The new one is working fine however with the added fees I had to pay out of pocket for instal and Samsungs defective items I could have purchased an item on a different scale.

This product work and perform as marketed, but the person selling it to me failed to let me know it doesn’t communicate with the Samsung “GAS” stoves. If you’re purchasing a gas stove, don’t let it stop you from purchasing it though as it’s a nice appliance for what it is – a fan.

This is how much I love Samsung. All my appliances are Samsung but I am really disappointed with the quality. My hood broke down after just two years. They like to break down after warranty ends. Paid a lots for it thinking u get what u paid. If I guess it doesn’t work with Samsung.

I really love my new range hood. It is a perfect fit for my recently renovated kitchen. It gives it that modern touch and shine with the stainless steel finish. This product is amazing. The only thing I’m not using is the bluetooth since I don’t have a compatible range to really get all the juice out this gadget.

not that good. every time we use it it doesn’t seem like it sucks in all the smell. sometimes the area gets very smokey. contact Samsung and they said its working fine. i have to remove the filters which was brand new ( few days old) and still barely works.
