This soundbar made a HUGE difference in the sound quality when added to my Samsung Terrace TV. With over 200 watts of power, it filled my porch without breaking a sweat! This bar has 3 dedicated channels but achieves Dolby 5.1 surround sound with some magic processing. Surround quality will vary based on the environment, but in my screened-in porch, it sounded amazing. It also connected wirelessly to the TV removing the need for any additional cable runs. It’s nice to be able to have the soundbar as a connected speaker to Amazon Alexa devices to play music. In my opinion, this is a must have in an outdoor environment and pairs perfectly with the Samsung Terrace outdoor TV. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion

Sleek, black in color, it goes perfect with the Terrace TV. The Samsung Terrace Sound Bar comes with all the necessary hardware needed to mount to the bottom of the Terrace TV, so that is an added bonus. The remote is very nice as well, metal and solid, feels indestructible. Now the sound from the Samsung Terrace Sound Bar is good, but it still lacks it not having an actual subwoofer. Turning the volume up helps, however, given the location where it is made to be used, it’s understandable why there is no sub option. A HDMI connection would have been better than the Optical, again, that is my opinion. Setting it up was automatic. Simple plug and play, The device was detected and setup automatically by the TV then the Samsung SmartThings App on the phone. It is a perfect choice for the TV.

I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion. The soundbar is equally as solid as the TV. The sound is deep and clear with no distortion. I really appreciate how the sub is built into the soundbar and there isn’t a need for an additional external sub. The bass coming from the sound bar is great! We have used the soundbar to stream music while on the patio. I really like the aspect of being able to use Bluetooth and not have to worry about additional speakers. I was worried the sound would get lost in the large outdoor space, but the soundbar is built well to distribute the sound in a way that it sounds full and doesn’t wash out. All in all, I would highly recommend the Samsung Terrace tv and soundbar to anyone looking to kick up their outdoor entertaining experience.

The Terrace Soundbar was designed to be used with the Terrace line of TV’s. The Samsung Terrace Soundbar comes with all the hardware needed to mount it to the bottom of the Terrace TV. Mounting is not difficult. The wiring can be done with the included optical connection or via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. There is no HDMI option, which I thought was odd, I feel that would have been the best option to use. The connection I used was the optical and the TV detected it automatically. I did not have to use the remote that was included. The remote is also made to be used outside and weather proofed. The audio settings are decent. There is no separate subwoofer included, so the deep bass is lacking. The sound though is good enough. Being that the Samsung Terrace Soundbar was made for outdoor use, the construction is good and clear enough. I am happy, it completes the patio setup.

The remote control is very easy to operate and connecting to blue tooth devices is very simple. The soundbar fits perfectly with my Terrace TV and was easy to install. The Sound Bar is an excellent addition to the Terrace TV, it provides great quality sound at Low volumes that even I can hear. We rarely go over a Level 3 because it provides such clear & powerful sound. It was very easy to setup and the TV automatically turns it on when it’s needed. The only thing I would recommend to Samsung would be to provide some type of Video Interface with the TC so you can see the Menu on Screen, when you would want to. I would also like to see a Hearing-aid interface, which I haven’t figure out if its capable or not, but appears not to be. The waterproof remote works great and the LED Menu screen is fairly easy to read. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback!

Sound bar is sleek, clean and built to withstand weather. it really works well with the terrace. With mounting brackets that attach to the bottom of the Terrace TV, it makes it easy to direct sound towards you if you have to turn your mounted TV. It is a good 3.1 sound bar with pretty impressive performance considering the build. Although it has HDMI port for connectivity, the Wi-Fi feature makes it easy to connect to a TV without cables. That allows for a very clean setup. The inbuilt sub-woofer provides enough thump to make content enjoyable. Dialog is also very clear on this sound bar. Surround sound makes it very immersive. When paired with a Samsung TV, it works seamlessly and can be controlled with the Terrace TV remote. Samsung Smarthings allow you to control this soundar and turn it on or off. One feature i enjoy is tapping my phone to the soundbar to connect. This makes it so easy to play music with having to fiddle with Bluetooth settings. Overall it is very good and should definitely be bought with the Terrace to enjoy the experience.

This soundbar is impressive! It sounds so clear, which can be a challenge outside. There is no distortion and it really compliments the Terrace TV well. It is very easy to cast music from my cell phone and sounds great. I unfortunately was unable to connect my TV and soundbar wirelessly. I had to download the SmartThings app (no other choice) and it would not connect to each other. I contacted Samsung customer care but this did not resolved the issue. I noticed when I utilized the app to turn the soundbar down, often it would turn the soundbar way up. This is something I am still experiencing, even though I confirmed the firmware is up-to-date. This soundbar steps up our outdoor entertainment space, even our neighbors can hear us. With the same IP55 rating as the TV, using the speaker outdoors is no problem. The sound quality is excellent due to the center channel and built in 210 watt sub woofer. We can really feel the action of our shows. With the distortion cancelling technology we never miss a word or sound, keeping us in the action of anything we are watching. We love listening to music as well, so with the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection options we can listen to anything anytime. Syncing the soundbar to our TV was also quick and easy. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. Now, what takes this tv to another level outdoors is the sound-bar, which can be hung with the tv or separately. I hooked it up to the tv using connector brackets. The sound bar is beautiful and creates a talking piece with guests. The sound is great and the listening options for tv vs music via your phone are fantastic. A well rounded sound with the ability to adjust the bass to your ear was a pleasant surprise. All in all, Samsung has delivered an amazing product that is sure to make anyone’s outdoor space a favorite for family and friends.

The aoundbar is great but the installation service was awful. First of all it took mon th hs for it to come in. I had to go to the store twice to get the mounting scheduled. I purchased the install and bracket. When the guy came he placed it on my table under the TV. He said if i wanted it mounted that was a 2 man job. 3 weeks later still no scheduled install.

We purchased this to go with the matching Samsung Terrace 55″ Outdoor TV and had it all installed together. It works seamlessly with the compatible TV and we have only had it up to “8”…can only imagine how it would sound at higher levels. It is very clear and powers right up with the TV(via a cable remote). Highly recommend as I understand the TV speakers leave a little to be desired.

Good size, great sound, great expansive sound. So far no distortion noticed when listening to bass heavy music, but you’re not going to create the boom if that’s what you’re looking for. Adaptive Sound option works seamlessly to transition between stereo sound for music and virtual surround sound for movies/tv shows.
I’ll probably give 5 stars in the future but have only been listening to it for 2-3wks so maybe there are some shortfalls, but none yet.

This soundbar is amazing but customer service provided by BestBuy is terrible. Bought an open box excellent condition sound bar and it was damaged so it was returned. Bought open box good condition but arrived to pick it up in store and there were no power cables. How are you supposed to operate it in good condition!?!?! Purchased open box excellent again and they said it was a system error and they didnt have one in stock. Tried contacting customer service and they did absolutely nothing to assist or make up for their misinformation on their products they tried to sell customers and did nothing to try to help me (their customer) resolve the situation at all. Customer service has been appauling.
