    Really like the unit, especially the middle drawer for drinks and snacks. Not sure that the food showcase door is necessary, maybe we’re just not used to it yet. The water pitcher inside the fridge is brilliant- I use that for everything from filling the coffee maker to the dog bowls. Great feature!

    Had this fridge for about 18 months now and the ice maker has completely stopped working, had the filter changed and reset and nothing. If I unplug it and plug it back it I works half the time but that’s not a real solution. Dissatisfied with how quickly this fridge started having issues

    This fridge isn’t even a year old and the ice maker has already stopped working. We learned that even though we purchased a 5-year geek squad protection policy, Best Buy wouldn’t help with the issue while it was still under manufacturer warranty. So, beware that if you buy a 5-year warranty, you’re really only getting 4. Then, Samsung wouldn’t send anyone out to fix our fridge. We have to coordinate Best Buy picking up our old fridge and trying to get a new one. In addition to the ice maker, be cautioned that the water pitcher cannot go in the dishwasher. It will melt! I was able to reshape it thanks to a Youtube video, but it’s never been the same. Also, be careful when removing the pitcher because if the rubber piece falls off of the spout it will no longer work. We did not end up liking/using the water pitcher as much as we thought we would. Even though the process has been a pain, I’m glad we are exchanging this for a new fridge. I would not buy again or recommend to anyone.

    This is a true winner!!! Quiet and powerful, cavernous yet pragmatically laid out! Food Showcase, initially scoffed at by the Highest Authority – Wife is now an object of a adoring smile! Retracting shelve won the accolades as did the adjustable shelf! Cold water bucket nestled near the ice dispenser is a very thoughtful and useful innovation. 2 thumbs up!!!

    So far, so good! I’ve had this refrigerator about 1 month now & I love it!! The middle pull out door is perfect for water bottles & breakfast drinks!
    I love how open the top is! No more bending down to see what I have!!

    This fridge has been great so far. We have been using it since it was delivered on 5/19/2022. It has so much more space than our last refrigerator. We love the door-in-door feature as it allows for quick access to drinks without opening the whole fridge. The ice maker is slow but produces enough ice for our family of 3.

    The delivery team was very professional and set it all up for us very quickly. The only complaint we have is that we are missing one of the small shelves that is supposed to be on the front end of the bottom freezer door.

    In general a good buy. Spacious freezer. Keeps food cold. The convenient condiment holders that can be carried is great. The extra water jug refilling is great. However, the jug started leaking around the seal about a month after use. We tried cleaning and drying around the seal but didn’t work. Wonder if it’s covered under warranty.

    I have never had a refrigerator that I have love so much as this one. I never expected to use the water container that is built-in and yet I use it daily. There are so many amazing features I can’t list them all. The dairy drawer is my favorite as it can be used as well as a beverage or wine drawer.
    It stays clean and it cleans easy as well.
    I love everything about this refrigerator.

    Replaced icemaker 5 times in less than 2yrs!!!! This is a known issue, don’t buy this fridge. The ice maker is faulty and you will have to get it repaired every 4months. It leaks even after they completely repair it with new pairs. Not worth the headache.

    The temperature control is easy and certain. The Flex Zone, unlike the refrigerator and the freezer, is not set 1° at a time, but in one of four ranges. I originally thought that I could make one part of the drawer colder than another. Wrong.

    All in all, it’s big, sleek, and well designed. Love the self-filling water pitcher. Ice maker works great.

    It’s a nice fridge, holds a lot for our family of 5. The kids love having their own drawer!
    Unfortunately, the water container doesn’t fill up all the way and the ice definitely gets frozen in the ice maker and makes it inoperable. Definitely get the warranty as it’ll help protect your purchase!

    I recently purchased a Samsung fridge, and I’m incredibly disappointed with its performance. Its temperature regulation is erratic and difficult to manage, often fluctuating wildly between temperatures that are much too warm or cold. It’s also very unreliable – it frequently breaks down and needs to be serviced, meaning I have to sacrifice time waiting for repairs rather than using my appliance. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product to anyone else.

    The fridge itself is pretty good. The ice maker is awful. We have dealt with issues with it since it was about 1.5 years old. It is now completely dead and just makes an awful noise all the time. This was not a cheap unit and we got 3 years out of it. Terrible. Samsung tv’s– 5star as we have had 6 of them 52-75 inch– but this experience with this fridge makes me want to dump this brand all together.

    I bought this in October of 2021. The electronics board died causing it to not have any power at all and no cooling. Best Buy says it’s out of warranty, and most shocking of all, Samsung says that it’s also out of warranty with them. They said “manufacturer’s warranty ran out after 1 year”. It’s ridiculous. Do not buy.

    The refrigerator will work fine for a while, and then randomly not keep the temperature low enough to be safe for food. It already needed to be fixed one and I need to have it fixed again for the same problem. It probably should have been fixed more times than it has.

    Samsung Model #: RF28R7351SR/AA purchased July 2021
    Think the refrigerator is great. Front door provides easy access to frequent items and the middle drawer helps getting head start on defrosting items.

    However, the internal water pitcher called “case water tank” is NOT dishwasher safe; deforms badly on top shelf. This should be displayed “prominently” somewhere; have not found any notice even in the manual. $125 for replacement pitcher is ridiculous.

    So far, as long as you are aware to wash the pitcher by hand, I would recommend.

    The water system is a complete joke. 3/8 water line takes FOREVER to fill anything from the dispenser. The Pitcher leaks everywhere when you pour water into anything. The automatic filling works maybe half of the time. All in all this is an overpriced and underperforming fridge.

    We really were Hesitant on purchasing another Samsung fridge, as the ice maker on our first Samsung fridge died in 2 years. The salesman said they have since fixed the issue. Well, here we are almost 3 years later and the ice maker is broken! I called Samsung, they said sorry here’s a list of 3rd party companies we work with. You will need to pay out of pocket to fix it, we can’t do anything for you. After doing some research this is a common issue with them, so common there is a lawsuit against Samsung. I now have 2 non functioning ice makers. Do not buy! We are spreading the word as far as we can.
