This fridge is pretty nice, if we had room in our house we would have gotten the larger one. My only complaint, which is very minor, is that the crushed ice does not crush very much.

The lower right door acts as either a freezer, fridge or cooler for your beverages, just set it to what your current needs are.
Ice machine works well and the exterior and interior appearance is high end.

If you like ice in your drinks then this Refrigerator is not for you. If you like ice bought at Gas Stations or Grocery stores then you came to the right place. I have had issues with the ice maker starting around the year mark when the warranty expired.

Ice does not work – horrible design – ice melts and then causes entire ice machine etc to become surrounded by frozen mess causing dripping leaking and no ice production – all Samsung appliances have had issues 🙁

I bought this fridge for $2700.00 at Best Buy on sale. Had to wait until July for it to be delivered. Still love the four door option and drawers, but the ice machine has been frozen up more often than not. I called Best Buy Geek Squad for repair but they say they can’t help me as its still under manufacturers warranty. Cannot get Geek Squad to tell me what good the $300 membership is with them for appliance purchases is they cannot service during 1st year and you have to renew it every year! So, after throwing that $300 dollar away apparently, I have been trying to get Samsung to fix this known defect in their expensive fridge ice machine. Been over a month and the only repair company within 60 miles still can’t get part. Samsung has offered me a credit for a new fridge. Crazy when all I need is the ice machine fixed! Am going with a counter top ice maker and swearing off Best Buy and Samsung products going forward.

Right at the one year mark the the ice maker started building up frost in the unit and wouldn’t make ice. Called Samsung as they have had a bunch of problems with this model according to You Tube reviews. Samsung said it was out of warranty and hung up.
Now it’s in my garage as a extra storage refrigerator since the price
of a new ice maker was over $300.00 No more Samsung for me.

I love this refridgerator! Just a few things issues… The ice maker freezes up frequently (twice a month or so) and the shelves do not move around really well, you are pretty limited with the configuration.

I waited a good two years before I decided to write this review. Sometimes the problems you encounter don’t happen until down the road. Two years in, I’m experiencing the one problem I had hoped would never happen, which is the ice maker no longer making ice.
What’s worse is that I’m already past the 1 year warranty (only the compress has 10 years, i believe) and I would probably have to pay upwards of $400 for someone to come out and fix. And after the fix is applied, there are no guarantees!!
So I say that based on the widespread issues they are having with the ice makers, stay clear of this product or any future models they may have down the road. Stick to their TVs and cell phones and let the other reliable manufacturers handle kitchen department.

Beautiful inside and out. Make sure if you have a wall on either side it does not come out further than 24″. The doors will not open if they do.

Love the look but can’t figure out how the bottom right turns into a refrigerator instead of a freezer. It also doesn’t have room to fit much of anything on the shelves, they have to be small bottles or they don’t fit. If you have more than 2 gallons of milk or a large container, only 2 can fit in the right top door. There is an adjustable shelf but it only opens half way back and is not fully adjustable and everything fits in an awkward position and it seems like it’s going to fall out the door. There are TINY little shelves in the doors, nothing fits except a flat candy bar or something like that. Oh! and it is NOT fingerprint resistant! Mine looks like crap ALL of the time! Not sure I would recommend it for a family.

Perfect performer when counter depth is required!! The fingerprint resistant finish is not only lives up to it’s name, but is also very stylish. The FlexZone adds ample versatility, as does the Power Cool feature when needing additional cooling performance at the touch of a button!!

The design of this refrigerator is unique with a compartment that can be designated for refrigeration or freezing for a freezer. This creates more flexibility for usage depending on if you need more fridge or freezer space. It is divided into 4 sections with a large upper section devoted to refrigeration with two doors and two lower sections with two doors. One of the two lower sections is freezer only while one can be alternated between freezing and cooling . There are no handles. There are indented sections to open and close the doors with. It has a sleek design and look.

It is absolutely maddening how many times I have tried to have this repaired thinking it was just my unit. Every time an appliance repair comes out they say not much can be done, other than caulk the edges. Every time, it’s another $100. It seems it is systemic to all of these refrigerators. The ice maker freezes up so often and you have to defrost it manually. I say “often”, as in every 3 weeks or so. I’m so tired of doing this! I have never joined a class action lawsuit but if some attorney out there wants to start one for this refrigerator – I’m in!!! The service at Best Buy was really good but if anyone at Best Buy is checking these rating – do NOT have your sales personnel recommend this product.

BIG… NO.. We brought this in early 2017 for our new home as this looked great and the brand sounded promising. High chances that this refrigerator will likely to be a mere fancy metal box after 2-3 years (It happened not just to me. Most people have same issues). Issues starts with ice maker and then extends to freezer malfunctioning. We have been out of these two from last 6 months as its an on-going game of ordering the parts and nothing works. Every time we call to report the issue ,geek squad sends a tech. Tech orders different parts every time and nothing works after all that. I’m sure they must have ordered almost all parts except frame and compressor. Samsung seems doesn’t want to do anything about it. Its just waste of money.

I am remodeling my kitchen and bought all new appliances via an online resource. They immediately notified me that the Samsung 4-door flex refrigerator was discontinued and out of stock. I found the almost exact refrigerator, only better and bigger capacity and cheaper, at Best Buy.
I also am disabled and the Samsung marketing team are missing a gold mine of an opportunity by not marketing these 4-door flex refrigerators to the disabled community. That is the primary reason I bought this style. We love it! We can reach everything now without fighting all our frozen foods!

We’ve had this refrigerator for 3 years, and we’re on our 4th ice maker replacement. They finally decided it wasn’t the ice maker, and that the computer panel was jammed in wrong during manufacture, which caused the door to not seal properly with the ice maker. They first told us it is out of warranty, and offered no solution other than to buy a new door.
I didn’t let it go, and made multiple calls and wrote reviews in every forum until they agreed to replace the door just to make me stop. HaHa!
That didn’t work either, so the have offered to pro-rate from the day we bought it and issue us a check. A family member now works for Lowe’s, and she mentioned this to people in the appliance department, and they said it is a common complaint. I just read reviews on LG and Whirlpool, and it looks like about 10% of the people writing reviews have complaints about their ice makers. Here’s to hoping that we get lucky on the next one.

The ice maker in this model freezes up and stops working constantly. I had to waste so much time having it repaired 10 times before I was able to get a refund. The last fix they put some heat element in the ice maker now it leaks water all over the inside of my refrigerator and still freezes up inside the ice maker. Stay away from it Google Samsung refrigerator ice maker you’ll get your answers.

Love this fridge. I did have to call for warranty for the ice maker within the first year but a service call was made and the new ice maker is working like a champ. I love the versatility of the bottom doors. I can have one freezer or two or I can have one freezer and one fridge on the bottom. I did get the counter depth fridge, so I practically use one of the bottom doors for my deli meats. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

Love the design of this fridge with bottom freezer being doors instead of a drawer, but the ice maker should be the deal breaker for anyone considering this refrigerator. It breaks constantly. We have Geek Squad out here every couple of months to fix the ice maker. It also does not have a meat or cheese drawer, which is more annoying than I thought it would be.

Ice maker issues, they won’t be able to fix them, I’ve had over 5 ” service appointments” to resolve this and still have a leaky, non working ice maker that has been a headache since day one.
Multiple pieces and components of this unit have been changed out but it still doesn’t work properly. Freezes over, clogs and then leaks through.
Samsung is aware of these issues and is still producing in fridge space ice makers that are faulty.

Ice maker will give you loads of problems! We had the extended warranty and had the repair folks out several times to repair/replace the ice maker parts and, even the newest level of parts did not fix the issue. It’s still a problem to this day. We purchased this through Best Buy. If you do buy this, definitely get the extended warranty or you’ll be sorry!

Bought a $3K+ fridge less than 5 years ago. Since then we have had to replace several drawers and shelves that have simply cracked. Almost every piece of plastic inside, and there are a lot of them, is literally falling apart. Now the Showcase door is not working and, of course, the ice maker has never worked properly. The stainless steel (?) front panels are absourdly easy to dent. At least the cooling system does work fine though. Never buying a Samsung again.
