    Very nice fridge with many bells and whistles. The main thing though is the fridge gets items cold fast and freezes even faster.I love the download ability of my video and pics on the Home Screen to personalized it. The instructions aren’t very clear so I had to figure it out myself. You need the app on you smartphone and you also have to sync your phone to the fridge.

    Works good as long as the seals on the freezer portion close properly. My only gripe is that now the software on the “Family Hub” screen displays ads for Amazon and for shopping related things.

    It feels very intrusive because it plays a loud chime whenever you close the door

    Absolutely the Cadillac of refrigerators, Hands down a beautiful piece of technology. I am not a big Samsung purchaser, however I was researching appliances and decided to outfit my entire kitchen with Samsung and this piece of tech is awesome. Not only is it roomy and fits in nicely, the black stainless is a work of art and is sleek and the family hub is just awesome. I love how this has plenty of space and has the second drawer and power cooling technology. One thing I would be critical of, this only has a down chute ice maker and you cannot reach in and grab ice like other fridges which I probably should of paid attention to but oh well, the rest of it is really awesome.

    So quiet you hardly know its there. All operations are smooth and flawless. The black stainless steel was the right choice, no visible fingerprint. love how the display screen comes on with motion giving you the time and temperature time and temperature. Love everything about it

    A must have, if you want to make your kitchen standout. The black stainless steel is the best option and really goes well. Fingerprint resistant keeps it shiny all the time.
    The build quality of the fridge is good. The family hub is great to listen to music and check recipes quickly. The auto meal suggestion option is new and interesting… some of the recommendations (based on your preferences) are definitely worth a try.

    Awful experience with the installation of my fridge. The water was leaking from the fridge on the floor right after the installation folks left. They connected the fridge and left immediately without explaining or warning us. And no one cared to come back to fix the leaking immediately when I called the store right away. They kept saying it takes 1 week to send people to fix the problem they created. Especially when I said it’s an emergency and the water was leaking badly. We had to pry to some third party folks to fix the problem which was additional cost to us. It was an extremely frustrating experience after buying such an expensive refrigerator.

    After 2 weeks with this fridge we are very happy with it. We love the Family Hub, especially for recipes. It’s also nice for listening to music or the news while in the kitchen. There is plenty of space for everything and is easy to organize. The only downside is it seems to be a little noisy, especially early in the morning. Not sure if it’s going through a defrost cycle or why but definitely not a big issue, just an observation.

    Ice maker keeps getting broken and the main problem is you pay a very expensive warranty but when the warranty is over you have to pay a lot of money very often to fix the ice maker over and over and over. They do not exchange the fridge since the ice maker is not considered a lemon only mechanical failures are considered a lemon. If I had known this, I wouldn’t have bought such an expensive fridge from Samsung.

    Considering buying a Samsung appliance?

    DON’T DO IT!
    We’ve bought a washer and dryer, oven, and this fridge. Never again! Every one of them has been a huge disappointment.

    Regarding the fridge, simply Google Samsung Ice Maker. It is every bit as bad as everyone says it is. There are even class action lawsuits.

    I wish I’d have done my homework before trusting this brand.
