    Purchased this, as it was needed during the transition to continued remote work. Overall it works exactly as expected, but with some important notes.

    – It uses the older mini-USB connection, which is pretty outdated at this point. If you misplace your cable, getting a replacement will be harder (obviously not impossible).

    – The microphone is VERY sensitive, which is good and bad. I have had coworkers note the quality good, but could be easily overpowering if not careful. Could easily pick up laptop fan noise which also was annoying.

    Overall, a good purchase, and i continue to happily use it.

    Haven’t tried this little guy yet, but if it works, it’ll be perfect. Very small, comes with a carrying case, and perfect compliment to my desktop units that don’t have a mic for phone calls.

    This is great for web conference meetings. There is a headphone jack on the side which is great to listen to the audio of the web conference meetings while using the microphone for your voice. This is much better than using the built in microphone of my work laptop.

    The best part about this little guy is that I don’t have to be very close to it to be loud enough for my teammates to hear me. Through discord it’s very good at picking up only your voice, but through some game’s voice chat they can hear when you click on your keyboard. Very nice to have with my cluttered table, but it doesn’t fit on my monitor, doesn’t necessarily need to though.

    This mic is something else. For the size, which is MUCH smaller than I expected it to be, the quality of the audio is picks up is wildly good. Almost on par with my 11 year old Blue Yeti that I’m replacing. Definitely a buy even if it’s just as a backup or secondary mic.

    The quality of the microphone is really good. Never any complaints about sound from anyone on the other end of a video call. That being said, it is supposed to clip to a monitor for use. It never stays in place because it is very poorly balanced. One touch of the microphone and the whole thing falls. It either needs to be better counter-weighted or the clip needs to have a stronger grip.

    What a great buy!
    The mic on my computer stopped working. I had Zoom call coming up and I didn’t have time to leave my laptop with the Geek Squad to troubleshoot the problem (yet).
    I found this Go Mic on the shelf, plugged it in and it works like a charm.

    Microphone operation is fine.
    Can’t clip it onto laptop screen because the clamp’s spring is too strong.

    laptop had very limited microphone range and if I turned my head the other party could not hear me speak. With the Samson Go Mic I can turn my back completely and the other party can here.
