    This TV stand weighs a TON. Make sure you have the people who deliver to move it exactly where you want it in your home. The stand comes mostly together, just have to install the doors which comes with the proper tools needed. When I purchased the stand I thought the tinted doors and glass top came in black from looking at the picture, but I was wrong. It’s a tint of brown similar to the brown of the overall stand. I loved the beveled edges and 2″ lift on top which peeked my interest. Vents our at the bottom of the stand for air circulation for your A/V equipment which is a nice touch. Everything about this Salamander stand is excellent quality, well built and highly recommend.

    This AV cabinet is truly a well-made piece of furniture and comes pre-assembled. It has sturdy construction with excellent fit and finish. The end compartments have an adjustable shelf that allows you to adjust for adequate airflow. Nice combination of smoked glass and dark wood. Excellent overall quality and compliments the 75 inch TV I use it to support.

    The console provides space for many different components, wires are easy to hide and design is very nice. the tinted glass provides a nice look. product is extremely durable, wood is good quality. overall it looks nice and is very functional

    Was looking for a nice looking piece that would fit a large center channel. This was what I found. While setting it up I was amazed at how many times I thought to myself. “have been saying (other units) should have had this or that or that”
    I’m going to reccomend this unit to everyone

    Looks great with good cable management. Good fit and position for large center channel.
    Top of cabinet is glass (not in specs). Is quite heavy as most reviews state.
    Delivery didnt include haul-away of boxes, just delivers inside home.

    Great addition to our theater system. All electronics inside…..roomy. Nice soft-close door hardware. Lots of shelf space and well ventilated inside. Easy access panels in back facilitate electronics hookup. DO NOT buy assembly. All that I did was unbox, add shelf support screws (8) and install three door handles and shelves (2). Good furniture, but pricey.

    When I first this I like it. But I wasn’t sure I wanted to pay the cost to buy it. As it was what I felt was quite pricey. But I bought it anyway and now that I have it Im not sorry. It weighs over 250lbs and is very well made. It has soft close doors, vents. And glass that can be face up or down. It is a great console.

    As My T.V. is only a 75″ Samsung Smart T.V sitting on a drywall I was able to position it any way I wanted with no fuse at all

    So when I purchased the 75″ TV from Magnolia, I did not want it mounted but placed on a TV stand. The only stands available were this one and two other more expensive stands. When I came home my wife reminded me of our 2 year old and having the TV on a glass stand would not be wise. Therefore, I had to return this TV stand but since it was already ordered I had to wait for 3 weeks for it to be delivered before I could return it. In the interim, I looked online for wood stands that were wide enough to look good under a 75″ TV and found numerous wood TV stands at less than half the price of this Salamandar stand. I’m not saying that it’s not a good stand, I just think it is overpriced compared to what is out there. Also, the stand is pretty much all glass with wood supports under the glass. Not recommended for those that have young or dirty kids that would defile the glass with their dirty hands. Or even worse, crack the glass with their barbaric movements, especially if playing Just Dance on the Wii U! Also, the TV Stand looks like something out of the 80’s or 70’s with the color and glass. Overall, I’m glad I returned it and had the TV mounted to the wall instead of on a TV Stand.

    This TV stand is great i love the looks and build of this stand. The back has panels that slide to get to the wire’s, I read some reviews that said it was not strong enough but it is all my equipment works great in it.

    Delivery men left it on sidewalk and said it was my job to get it in the house. I am 80 years old and disabled. After some heated words they put it in entryway after checking with dispatch.

    Extremely happy with our Salamander stand. The stand houses all my components and was pleased I was able to fit my modem and router into one of the cabinets. Cabling ports in the stand are conveniently situated for easy routing. Stand came with sliding panels for the back but we did not install so air could flow more freely through the stand. Stand also has air vents on the bottom of each of each cabient to assist air flow. Best part – The day after I purchased the stand the prices was reduced by over 800.00. Best Buy, as always, honored the drop in price.

    Very nice cabinet, nice hardware and finishes, and made to accommodate stereo equipment. I was shocked how many furniture store cabinets are made incorrectly and can’t fit standard 17” components. I caught this on an amazing sale and it was a great value and fit my huge amp when just about nothing else would. I made a few modifications to allow my cables to easily disconnect from the cabinet when I move it away from the wall, very happy with this purchase!
