    These microphones are good. I even bough the actual handheld microphone that you can stick this unit inside to turn it into a microphone you can hold with your hand. It only cost 30 bucks on rogues website. To be honest one of the best microphones I’ve used for my cameras. You can hook up two microphones as well.

    My RX unit was dead on arrival. My bad, but I waited more than 15 days to discover this, and Best Buy refused the exchange.

    I went through the hassle of an RMA with Rode, and paying to ship it back for warranty replacement. Rode was excellent in this, in all regards.

    Another my bad: I bought the single transmitter combo, thinking I might add a 2nd TX in the future. Big mistake. Neither BB nor anybody else stocks the single unit. You have to buy it (easily) direct from Rode, but at a higher cost than if you bought the 2x combo package in the first place. You will find a good use for the second TX unit.

    The Rode Central app on Win10 is absolutely mandatory. It is bare-bones but handles firmware updates, battery charging and custom settings properly. Win10 and newer is required.

    It is my understanding the GO-II mounting system is more sturdy then the competing DJI units. Used with adult supervision, neither should be a problem.

    I use these with a Nikon D850 and get excellent results.

    These have great sound and a pretty fair range. They connect easily to a phone, iPad, or computer (by USB-C connection only). If you have a speaker with an aux jack, you can have a pretty effective PA system as well (you speaker must have the aux jack as it will not connect via bluetooth).

    These are great microphones. Usually I never leave any kind of comments but these are the best wireless mics I’ve ever used. tips and tricks: MAKE SURE you turn on both of them at the same time and charge them before using them as well as making sure you have a WALL PLUG and A USB to USB-C it comes with a cable but you’re going to want a larger cable

    I’m pretty new to this recording stuff, and I recently picked up the Rode Wireless Go II to record audio for some short work clips. Here’s my first impression:

    The good news is that it records GREAT sound. Even for a beginner like me, the audio quality is a real winner. You get clear and crisp sound.

    But here’s the deal: setting it up can be a bit tricky, especially if you’re new to this. The instructions are a bit confusing, and it took me a few tries to pair everything up properly to record automatically. Once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing, and the range is good. So, if you’re willing to put in a little effort upfront and watch a lot of online tutorials, it’s a solid choice, but it’s not exactly plug-and-play.

    Probably one of my favorite gadgets! Use these for lifting videos to hear better sound through out video and to get commentary. Pretty easy to use and the charge stays for a long time. Also used at convention to interview people and it was very fun and easy to hide!
