    I’ve had these installed on my speakers for several months now and have not had any trouble. I have passive Klipsch speakers. They are fairly easy to install, took me a minute to figure it out though.

    Good pluga. Just be mindful of cable rating.
    I recommend using 14 or 12.

    We had a problem connecting the wire to the banana plug. The wire would just not stay connected. That’s too bad because banana plugs are generally easy to use. But not this one.

    Its “self wiring” design didnt secure well to 16 gauge speaker wire, so i had to hell it out with a littke solder. The ends are large abd easy to grab. Secure fit in my speaker.

    I was desperate to use my Yamaha receiver so I purchased a pair of Sony bookshelf speakers and these awful plugs. I ended up using the bare wire in place of the plugs while I wait for the open screw-type plugs to arrive. Best Buy should discontinue selling these plugs, down the existing inventory and sell open strew plugs instead. There are still customers who want traditional AV home theater receivers and speakers. These banana plugs is a terrible frustrating disservice to those customers.

    These are by far the best banana plugs I’ve used. The mechanism for securing the speaker wire is a lot more resilient and less prone to the wire being accidentally ripped out. I highly recommend this product.

    When assembling these plugs on cables I’d recommend having a pair of needle nose pliers on hand to widen the black/white rings to make it easier

    Picked these up for some new Klipsch speakers that were getting delivered. I didn’t do my homework and these didn’t connect to those speakers (definitely my fault). They are good quality though from the look of them. Kept them for when I’ll need them in the future

    The stereo wire plugs worked as they advertised. The BestBuy sales person directed me to them. It made connections at the receiver a cleaner installation so that the wire strands did not make any incidental contact which could make a short.

    Terrible design to push into the end of the wire to make a connection. They all fell off as soon as moved the receiver back into place. I tried several times to get these to work, but could not get them to where I could rely on them.

    If your device accepts banana plugs, I recommend wiring electronics with banana plugs. It’s much easier to plug in the wires to the back of the receiver (or another device) this way.
