Just recently bought this dash cam and Very happy with my purchase. The only thing is app works kinda weird, sometimes work, sometimes can’t connect. Also did get a smart kit to install everything all together and Installation at best buy went great and smoothly.

For the most part, it is extremely reliable. Sometimes it randomly turns off while driving, although this is rare. It can also be a bit of a hassle to connect to if you need to extract videos, but at least its through wifi.

Purchased this one for my daughters car. We have been looking for a while as we wanted to have one in her car for the unexpected. Installation was fairly simple. I also bought the hard wire kit so we could enable parking mode. Took about 90 minutes to install to make sure all the cabling was neatly tucked away. Picture quality seems excellent so far. Just hope it is one of those things you never need but will be happy you do if necessary.

Got this on sale. It is doing well so far. Fairly easy to install but depends on your car. Good clear videos for the front and rear camera enough to see license plates. The only negatives is videos are split up into ~1 min segments but you can easily merge them together with software, the sd card is hard to remove, and the screen is hard to see but they are minor. You don’t really need the screen, you can use the app and you can get the sd card by pushing on it with a key or equivalent.

Great product for the price! The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because the way you view the videos on your phone. You have to be connected via Wifi which is fine but it makes you go to the connection screen on the device. Would be better if you could just open the videos on the app without having to connect using the device every time.

The front camera is 4K and able to record license plates in vivid detail. The rear camera is FHD and also very good at reading license plates. This is a solid performance dash cam from a very reputable manufacturer that is both reliable and good in my car. The unit mounts on the windshield next to the rear-view mirror and has an adhesive application so that it stays “on” the glass throughout the year. Great dash cam.

We bought the smart hardwire kit and hooked it up that way. It lasted a week before it started turning itself on and off while driving. The next day it started having lines on the screen and freezing. I do not recommend this camera.

This dash cam works well. Not hard to set up. Turns off with vehilce if left plugged in. Accepts a micro sd card and connects to your phone if desired. Captures good video even in low light, night time. But, you will need to read instructions to understand buttons and how to save something you want to keep instead of letting it loop and re-record over old video footage. You can get a larger micro sd for extra memory. As for rear camera, i have not connected it. Very light and an easy mount where you can remove and re attach anytime with no problem.
