    bought for my Brother, he was involved in a head on collision with a drunk driver that crossed over into oncoming traffic, both he and his daughter were ok but shaken by the whole experience, so I purchased this for them so they would be able to record their road trips and feel a little more secure knowing that if something else were to happen they would always have a witness to back them up.

    Absolute garbage. You can’t see anything. The camera is terrible. In daylight there is too much glare to see image and at night the headlights from other cars completely white out the image. Don’t buy.

    Worked great and loved it, but just a few days ago the touch screen stopped working out of no where but the video is still recording I just can’t access anything. I tried resetting but it won’t fix my problem.

    3rd unit of this model I’ve had. Unfortunately they only last about 5-6 months, then begin boot-looping endlessly. No firmware updates to be had and forcing an old firmware is impossible with rexings website. Poor tech support, takes weeks to get a reply and they continually ask to do basics (reset, restart, swap out hardwire kit, “do a firmware update” etc.) Which has already all been tried and no success.

    I loved the features and quality of video, and it worked great when it worked. But some quality control needs to be done majorly at rexings, as this is just one of many cameras they sell that doesn’t last long. Many m1, M2, v1, v1p, v3 and v5’s I’ve seen do the boot-looping out of the box, and rexing has no solutions that I’ve seen for the past year+.

    I really liked this Dash Cam until it stopped working 1 month ago. It has an internal problem because I have hooked it up to other power sources and it still does not work. It does not stay on. It also no longer turns on automatically when I turn on my vehicle. I turn it on manually and it records for a few seconds and then turns off. I am really disappointed and am expecting warranty to cover this issue and that I receive a newer model as I am sure this is an issue the older models experience.

    I bought this for my 2005 Mazda Tribute and I really feel like it helped update the overall of it. I think it’s trippy as a camera that it is always showing me the rear view like a mirror would, which is occasionally distracting in the evening and also sometimes it makes me more fearful that I maybe rear ended because people really creep up on the back end and lights make them look closer. But overall if I have any issues the guys in the installation department have been able to address the questions and they did install it for me MONTHs after buying it, which helped me budget the whole process. I got it on sale for less than $100 which is also a win.
    I guess the only reason it lost a star is that I fear it has more features than I know how to use on it, so I feel a little like it maybe going to waste- not their fault but maybe a link to a YouTube video for users would be awesome.

    It’s an ok camera. The cold in the winter makes the camera not work. I did not like that you can not see through the rear view mirror during the day, the screen is not vibrant enough to see the video during daylight hours.

    I love this dash cam! My previous one didn’t allow me to replay it without taking the chip out so I love that I can instantly replay my files. The quality is amazing too and I’m technologically challenged and this is the easiest thing to operate. Would 100% recommend

    The memory card keeps filling up with locked videos and you need to manually delete them. No App support. Works great and used mostly as a reverse Cam more and Dashcam less. Worked for 2.5 years without any issue.

    I’ve wanted a dash cam for years because my car is slightly too old to have one by default, I was absolutely delighted to find this product and everything looked hunky dory, but there are severe problems you should know about before considering purchase of this product.

    – The glass that covers the display is about as reflective as a normal mirror, this means the product is pretty much completely useless for anything but backing up at night therefore defeating the entire purpose of the product.

    – The manual is barebones and does not permit you to put the clock in 12 hour time (24 hour only).

    I’m planning to return this device and just live without a backup camera, I’m really bummed out about it :/

    Does what it is suppsed to do but this screen is not like a built in. Have to accept that it is a screen built into a mirror. Multiple images and sunshine provide false picture if not paying attention.

    It turns on when it doesnt need to. Sometimes turns on when the car starts 3/4 of the time it doesnt. The manual sucks. The only reason it got 2 because when its on it technically works. It says battery but constantly has to be plugged in. I sit in the car the camera turns on i hit a small bump it does. I turn the sensitivity on low then it turns on for nothing

    Mirror is a good buy if your interested in photography evidence!.the only downside that i experienced is the somewhat distorted rear view because of tint on the glass,besides that the mirror is a really good buy just in case a unfortunate event happens you will have proof of evidence!..No need to argue just let your video speak for you!..I will be purchasing three more for the other cars!

    I have tried a couple of dashcams and did a lot a research on the price and the equality, before i settled on the Rexin. It is by far, the best in pcatecogery. I feel cvery at price and in what it has to offer. I confident in my purchase. I would recommend it to anyone that it would a great investment.

    This dashcam works as needed but i learned to not leave it plugged in at all times as it may drain your car battery. I had to jump my car after leaving it plugged in. I would also recommend a higher quality dashcam unless you are only looking for the most basic.

    The product is working as expected. But two major issues, rear view camera feed when using as backup camera will cut half of the view. We need to manually drag up and down to view it. There is no option to format the Data from file lock folders. I would not recommend to buy this item if you want to use it as a backup camera.
