    Need these for my samsung fridge’s drinking water system. Much better priced than local big box home improvement store. Also… most importantly… this one actually FITS. Once ordered online and the groves were slightly different from the original.

    Be careful buying this replacement filter. It may not actually fit into your refrigerator. Samsung redesigned the filter to create a better seal (we never had any problems) and in so doing made aligning the filter in the holder very difficult. I was on the phone with Samsung for two hours trying to solve the problem to no avail. Got a third party version that fits and works fine

    This is a great product. Unfortunately, I have to return it since I have a new refrigerator from Best Buy. I’ll have to update my auto ship options for the new water filter. Auto ship is very convenient.

    The mounting interface for this filter has been redesigned. The new replacement filter will not install in my Samsung Refrigerator.

    Bought it early so I’d have it when needed. This new one DOESN’T FIT! Had it too long to return it so I’m out $50! Doesn’t say anything on the box about a newer design and there aren’t any others on the site for the older models except the BB brand which doesn’t filter well.

    Why did they change the filter attachment? Nearly impossible to replace the old style filter with this new style filter. Bad move on Samsung’s part since there are no original Samsung replacement filters for the older refrigerators. Would not recommend for those who do not have a newer Samsung refrigerator. Highly recommend the Best Buy version since it still has the old style attachment and is much easier to replace

    We had to trim off with a box cutter part of the locking mount that screws into the receptacle. So much for this Samsung filter fitting our Samsung fridge.

    The “Best Buy essentials” brand water filter is an exact fit for my Samsung refrigerator. Some brands of aftermarket filters have claimed to fit but do not have the necessary bevel inside the tip of the neck. This Best Buy filter does.

    The filter works well, but can be a challenge to install. It takes a lot of force to get the filter properly installed. I have to remove the lower shelves to get enough space for someone to apply enough pressure to turn and push the filter into place. Once in, it works great.
