The only problem I’m experiencing is that my unlock button often needs me to be very close and pointed directly at the receiver. I haven’t yet tried changing the battery to see if that will resolve the issue.
Other than that, it operates exactly as I had hoped. The sales person and installation technician were very knowlegable and up front about the benefits and limitations of this product. I felt well informed. There were no surprises, except one pleasant one: the car now auto locks once the engine is on and auto unlocks once it’s turned off. It didn’t do that before.
Maybe the only other thing I might wish for is that the volume be reduced. I don’t like it being so loud when I arm the system. And the manual doesn’t come with installation instructions, nor could I find anything online about how to reduce the volume.

What button is the Valet button? I have tried the programming directions with no success! If the orange star at the bottom is the Valet button; then, it will not program the remote per the instruction sheet.
