This is my first time upgrading my subwoofer from an 8″ Aperion 8D to a REL 1510. All I can say is “WOW”. Without a doubt, I am impressed with the 1510. 1510 is an impressive capacity for tactile response and outright slam. I would highly recommend this subwoofer to anyone who is thinking about buying a new subwoofer. The only negative that I have with this subwoofer is the price compared to other competitors. I took advantage of the sale that REL provided on the HT lineup.

This subwoofer offers deep bass and will shake the house if turned up. Very heavy and may require a second person to carry in and set up. Simple set up and clean looks. May want to check size of the room its going in before purchase due to size of this sub.

This is the 2nd 1510 in my system. Currently hooked up stereo via Rel’s Airship ll providing a high level connection from my Evoke 50’s. The 1510’s excel at HT but are also superbly musical. Very fast, capable of subtle and room shaking bass. When these are on sale, they are a no brainer purchase if in within your budget.

Super fast response, not at all boomy which is what you want . If you want boom instead of precision this is not the sub for you.

This subwoofer really fills the room with low base. Helps the movie watching to be a very clean and powerful chest shaking movies. It is a little expensive, but it’s worth it.
