    Built-in Microphone: The built-in microphone is serviceable for casual use, but don’t expect exceptional audio quality. If you’re in a noisy environment or need high-quality audio, you might want to consider an external microphone.

    Design: The webcam has a simple and functional design. It can easily be clipped onto your laptop or desktop monitor. The adjustable clip allows you to find the perfect angle for your video calls.

    Quality is BETTER than described on the box. Box claims 720p but it can do 1080p at 60fps! The built in light is super convenient too. Great for night streams.

    Adjustable light (can be very bright at first), two thick hinges, mountable multiple ways (can hang on a bolt or can grip onto a corner) with moderate quality & framerate. Very good for the price.

    The picture quality is great. I’m a gamer and finally found a camera that’s not delayed or grainy! I also love the modern design. The ring light provides just the right amount of light for video calls and gaming!

    If you need a webcam for zoom or even some livestreams and don’t wanna spend too much this is perfect. Solid quality at a solid price. Super easy to use and you can even customize the settings a bit using Razer synapse.

    I think this little cam with the ring light has seen its day — it is outdate compared to the cams available these days. It’s going through the end of its product life cycle. I would go for the Pro, especially since it can be bought at a bargain price more and more these days.

    The ring light is a great fill light, perfectly adequate for social distances video chat, hassle-free setup, plug in the usb and go!

    Just not that good overall. The biggest problem is that you cannot adjust the controls as you are using the camera in another app, so you can’t fix an image problem. Also, it’s very hard to predict how the image will appear in a web meeting, sometimes it’s zoomed in, sometimes it’s not, and I don’t even have auto zoom turned on.

    Also does mediocre ambient light adjustment.

    The only issue i have with this is specifically the software. It eats up alot of CPU granted i have an older Intel processor. A heads up you dont need the software running to use the cam.

    I like it! It worked perfectly out of the box, completely plug and play. Good resolution and voice input is good for a camera based microphone. The ring light puts out some lumens, no need to increase the ambient light in the room.

    I am not a professional videographer; I use this item for video calls with my family. It is PERFECT for that purpose. Very easy to use, plugs in and works right off the bat, and the video quality is superb.

    It doesn’t work without additional software. The Razer Synapse 3 is not compatible with MacOS and it’s only used for configuring the camera in Windows. Razer recommends using OBS which isn’t compatible with all graphics cards, meaning mine. The camera is useless to me and a big waste of money.
