This is wonderful. I did need to rig it a bit to get it to not to fall in a downward position because of the weight of my iphone 12 pro. The magnet and pop socket keep the phone attached to the accessory quite well.

I bought this for using the GPS in my car with my phone and at first I was satisfied with it but soon learned that it does not stay on the vent and falls bringing my phone with it and lodging itself anywhere down near my feet as I am driving. So unsafe and frustrating. I am returning it and on the lookout for a decent car mount that actually works without having to buy a car with a navigation system.

do not recommend unless you want your phone flung at high rates of speed and lodged under your feet or seat as your drive. This is going to cause accidents if they continue to use this. It does not matter what they do to improve this, as long as it is “mounted” to the air vents it’s never going to work. The “teeth” get stretched out after a few uses and then it’s useless.

Works great for a MagSafe phone case and a pop socket, just make sure you center your pop socket on the MagSafe circle on the case.

Strong magnet will hold even larger iphones no problem. The only problem I had was I bought a mag safe wallet and put a pop socket on the back of the wallet. When I then try to mount the phone in the holder the magnet isn’t quite strong enough to hold the phone with a wallet on the back. If you have just a pop socket it will work great.

It didn’t stick well in my vents, and I couldn’t get what seemed like the compatible popsocket to stay regardless of its inability to stay put in my car. I turned out finding a different solution to hold my phone and this was a waste of money

Very strong magnet, I make hard turns and go over bumps on roads, pot holes, and my phone has not fallen ONCE! It also stays put very well on the vent of many cars. For reference, a Lincoln suv, dodge charger, and Chevy truck. Whether you have a pop socket or not this is amazing. I personally have a pop socket but I bought my boyfriend one as well as my mom, and they just have a MagSafe case and it holds up very well.
