I bought this to replace 2 sony subs. I’m happy with it. Sounds much better than the sonyies.
Ilovenyc32 –
The quality is impressive and the price is not bad either!
Jedimmie –
Decent little sub on its own for a small to middle sized room. Recently moved and upgraded my listening area so picked up a second unit to help fill the space. Works like a charm again
Matt –
Super awesome quality and a great value. I’ve owned a few of these. I had one in my living room and it easily rattle the windows. I have one in a cabinet in my outdoor bar and it rocks the neighborhood. And it’s so cheap. I’m sure there are better ones out there for a lot more money but this is a great affordable option.
JayRoam –
Very big sound with tight bass, and a very attractive enclosure.

This is a great, not too big, sub. For how good this sub sounds, and the low cost, I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve had this unit for about 2 months now. The PSW10 is a great Subwoofer for the price. It supports a high level or speaker level input connection from a receiver or amplifier not found in most Subwoofers. Using a traditional two channel amplifier w/o a Subwoofer output connection made this feature a must. All it requires is to connect the unit to the “B” speaker pair output on my receiver.
This allowed me to supplement the low bass output produced from my vintage Polk RTA12B floor speakers that I found lacking from what I concluded is my current receiver’s inability to drive these large speakers effectively at the low end of the audible frequency range.
I set the Subwoofers variable volume at about 1/3 and the extra kick provided sounds smooth and seamless in working with the main speakers.
The price was great, the hook-up easy, the shipping fast, the sound quality is very good, and the unit arrived in perfect working condition. Completely satisfied.

I would recommend this powered sub-woofer The bass is exceptional for the price point. I did a fair amount of research prior to purchase and this is the best sub for the dollar for performance, reliability and construction.
Rojo –
Sound great and the price was even better, works great with my Onkyo
Skookmonster –
This sub does a good job in a smaller room. It doesn’t like prolonged punishment. Worth the money. Works well in my gym.

This Polk PSW10 is a great subwoofer for the price. I was looking for a subwoofer that got great reviews and was budget friendly. I needed a sub for a system I was setting up for listening to Music in my office. I used my old Yamaha Aventage HTR as it was retired from Home Theater duties(I needed 4K and Atmos). I used Jamo bookshelf speakers as my main speakers. The system also includes a Pro-Ject Essentials II Digital Turntable, Onkyo CD player, and a Denon Tape Deck. The PSW10 fit the bill and has been great while I listen to Vinyl and CDs.
Bobbyc –
easy to hook up and sound is great, just what my home theater needed .

Glenn –
This subwoofer works great with the Klipsch speakers
lZman –
Good deep bass, these are rated at 50 watts RMS and seems a bit louder than my old 8″ 50watt one. possibly because these are 10″
i did get 2 of these on sale $130 x 2 one is just not loud enough and better to have 2 on each side of the room rather than one 200 watt one in one corner
2 balances out the frequencies and imaging.
CynthiaK –
Fits in well with my 25 year old speakers after my previous subwoofer busted. Great sound for a medium sized space!
Rankor –
I bought this because I thought I needed one with my flat screen tv, to help boost the sound level about 12 percent. I have not ever heard one in a stereo store or in anyone’s house, so I wasn’t sure of what to expect from this sub. I currently have a Onkyo TX-NR696 7.2 channel Audio/video receiver, with 100 watts per channel. My only concern is the placement of it. Live and learn. I have wired up a lot of stereo equipment, and this was relatively easy with the hook ups label with what goes here and such. I was getting excited with the sounds that will soon fill the air. I have a 6 speaker Polk Audio system and so my thoughts where it should handle this. All hooked up and ready to power on for the first time. I picked out a cd with some good instrumentals, like Santana, and hit play. OMG, I froze in my tracks. I have not ever heard a sound like this. INCREDIBLE. I know I will have to mess with it until I get it just right but this is for me and my friends to come over and listen to the music. I can’t wait to watch and listen to the new Maverick movie.

Purchased this subwoofer to replace an older model damaged during a storm. This has a solid punch and very clear sound. It is a great upgrade to my existing system.
MarkD –
Great for the money! Not the last word in resolution and not going to make you believe dinosaur’s are approaching but good for small HT set up or small sub sat for music. Works great as the latter for me in the office
Randy –
This is a great sounding woofer. I would recommend this speaker for any home theater system!
RobertC –
Does its job. Works with Bluetooth or as basic subwoofer. You can add more speakers or other powered or unpowered Subwoofers. worth the money if money is an issue.
ProphetA –
Ok it’s a decent replacement to my previous subwoofer
Jonboy –
This completed my 7.2 Channel Polk Audio Surround Sound System. Very nice quality as Polk always is! 100Ohm Subwoofer has plenty of bass
Satisfiedcustomer –
Sound is great! We are happy that it’s so easy to adjust bass so it isn’t always drowning out other sound qualities.
KennethF –
Polk audio subwoofer, sounds terrific, easy setup, I’d recommend it to anyone.
AnnaK –
great bass sound and fits perfectly on our stand, adds sound surround for out home theater.
Pirate3941 –
Exactly as advertised. Great sub for the price. Size was perfect for my small living room.
Maryclaire –
Added depth to my music at an exceptional level. Worth the investment.
Alan –
Great sound. Good value. Using it with a computer via a small amp.
Chrys –
Excellent product highly recommended and affordable
DeVon –
This may not be the largest, highest powered subwoofer on the market, but it surely is more than enough for most small rooms. I haven’t pushed mine past half volume because it begins to make everything in my bedroom rattle.
trbo23 –
this sub is great i was skeptical at first but it showed me upi love it
Johnnyd505 –
Great sound system! Would recommend the PSW10 10 Powered Subwoofer for those who enjoy great sound!
Royster –
Always like Polk speakers, great value, I like the front ported design, so I can place it right up against the wall.
Rich –
This unit was a great buy to complement my Polk monitor speakers up front and my Optimus t120 towers in the rear.
Really adds more fullness & much deeper vibes to my system overall – got this at a pretty fair price during the Polk speaker sale.
Konghusker –
Great value at the sale price. Use it with a pinball machine perfectly
BOSSBOY –
Great low end frequency and well built for the price
Brendani1 –
Second purchase of this sub. Solid high rated sub for the price and class. Won’t disapoint, crisp clear bass
Mudslide –
Bought this to replace my sub that only lasted 30years : ) so had to get up to speed to find a new one. Anyhow, this is a great unit with smooth, quality bass. Not sure how a more expensive unit could do better for home audio.
No LFE on this, but turning the low pass knob fully counter-clockwise and setting he cross-over on the amp works just fine. This is a big cube so suggest measuring first so no surprises on planned placement.
Director –
Great subwoofer with the quality of Polk Audio speakers
RobertM –
Of course. After purchasing a sound bar, pair of small towers. I had to get a powered sub. All Polk. Had Geek Squad hook these up to a Denon 5.2 receiver. I thought I was just happy with the speakers?
Now everything I watch. From television shows, to documentries, to movies. It’s like seeing and actually hearing them for the first time ever!
The sub case itself is nice and compact. Fits any decor. And cranks out enough lows to make everything rattle on low volume. But perfect enough to balance out everything else. As a bonus. The price didn’t kill either.
Nate –
For 100 watts, the deep base is seriously impressive. If you are afraid that this sub won’t be enough, don’t be.
Samsung –
Awesome subwoofer; rather large for a 10″ sub. Good thing is it backs it up with bass. Would definitely recommend Polk.
ShaylanM –
Great sound. I bought a second one to complete my home theater
