    Terrible! The sound is very poor and lots of static. Changed the speaker wire to see if that would help but that didn’t make any difference. Bought them and had to work out of town for a few months so didn’t plug them in until May and by this time they were out of warranty so can’t return them and if anyone is considering buying them, don’t bother, pay a little more and get something different.

    Bought 2 of these speakers on an open box deal. I’m so happy that we got them even cheaper than the sale price because these sound absolutely amazing. We have 2 other Polk tower speakers that were a little more expensive and these XT60 sound just as good if not better. You won’t be disappointed if you decide to go with these.

    If you have to buy stands for the XT20 (which I also own and recommend), may as well just buy these and get more low extension!

    Bought as a gift to upgrade the sound of a TV. After around 6 hours of break in, the sound is excellent for front stage use. The radiators emit enough bass to use without a subwoofer. If you require a lot of rumble from music or movies, then a subwoofer will add a generous amount of low end. The XT70 will most likely give you more presence in a large room with the extra midrange, but for an average sized home theater or living room, these are sufficient. They are well worth the cost, and if you can catch them on sale, do not hesitate to pick up a pair.

    speakers sound great for home theatre and music. they are rated for 4 or 8 ohm systems but work just fine with a 6ohm sony receiver

    I had a pair of older Polk Audio speakers which I love and thought these would be great? WRONG. Terrible, dinny, distorted mid-range sound. Very disappointed!

    Getting speakers like this for this price is like stealing. The midrange is amazing and the high end has minimal roll off. Used a Cambridge AXA35 and drove them well.

    These tall thin cabinets don’t look the part but they impart clarity, full range of Hz including bass and do so without distortion at high volume. In a word: Exceptional. They need speaker wire but were worth that bother for me.

    Using these with Yamaha R-N803 receiver in my man cave and they sound very clean and alive at low to moderate volume levels. They would be tough small tower speakers to beat for this price. You’ll need a subwoofer if you want loud and punchy bass, but these are great for all around listening. Quality seems to be decent, no apparent flaws.

    Very good speakers for the price. Together with a new AVR, they replaced my 20+ year-old Sony SAVA-D900 system, which finally broke down altogether. All I want is decent sound for my television and occasional music, and these speakers do just that, even without a subwoofer.

    Got a pair of these to go with my sound bar and powered subwoofer. My local Best Buy had these on display. But not attached to any system. Decided to give them a chance. Since I was burnt out on cranking my tv’s volume to high as it would go. And only hear a whisper.
    These guys definitely filled in that sound gap I was missing. The price was decent enough not to break the bank. Completely satisfied.

    I use these for my rear channel. Sound is not as crisp as the polk reserves i use for the front. But in my opinion, for the price, a very good option for entry level front channel. And they look good!

I believe anyone who buys a pair will not be disappointed with the purchase. The quality of sound is so crystal clear you can hear practically every instrument it takes your mind away. What a great investment for me I want be in need of a another set unless I decide to add on another pair.

    The MXT 60 speakers are really nice and sound great. I liked them so much, that I ended up purchasing the whole series. I got the MXT 30 Center Channel, and a pair of MXT 20 Bookshelves for the rear. Then I decided to go all out and get the larger MXT 70 Tower speakers for the front, and moved these to the sides. My home theater sounds amazing now.
